Thanks for the positive post. It's been pretty bad, I can only keep hope that it will pass.
It will pass. I know from personal experience.

You're out in root if me this time - nice work! I'm counting on you to continue to set a good example.

I have "paused" my addiction with good success in the past - all I can say is that by about 1 month you'll be normal again - never out of the woods, just normal.

I never want to go through this again so I'm going to make it stick this time.
As someone who's quit and relapsed a number of times, ill attest that it's tougher to quit every time.

Commit to quit with me man - LETS NEVER DO THIS AGAIN

There's only one way to guarantee it will pass, and that is to stay quit.
Quit date: 1/6/2014

Do you remember nicotine? Do you truly remember her? The way she controlled you financially, emotionally and physically? The lies she whispered in your ear daily? Remember how one dip was too many and one thousand was never enough? Yeah, so do I. That's why I'm here. That's why I post roll. That's why I support my brothers and sisters. Because I remember her too damn well.

I quit 12 days ago. Still finding it hard to sleep, not much appetite and pretty bad depression feelings. Anyone else feel this way?

Welcome aboard Dsimo. Everyone here has gone through the suck...just like you are experiencing now. It is tough, but it gets better. Pretty soon the sleep issues straighten out and your mind will start working like it should. You did not learn to jam your mouth up with nicotine overnight, so don't expect everything to get back to normal overnight...it is a process. Your brain and body need time to adjust to working without the drug. Go to the welcome center tab on the top of your screen and start reading the materials here. Also read the intros from the other quitters. Then, you need to post roll. Roll is your daily promise to yourself and all of your new brothers and sisters that you will not use tobacco in any form that day. You will post your name and the number of days you are quit each day in the April, 2014 quit group. Each and every day you will post your promise. No exceptions. That is the price of admission to KTC. Nothing more and nothing less. If your electricity quits working, your internet provider goes bankrupt or you are on vacation and will not have internet access, call or text a quit brother and tell the brother to post for you. Simple and easyÂ…and therefore, no reason for not posting roll. The reason you are put in April is that will be the month that you will celebrate being 100 days free of nicotineÂ…your Hall of Fame date. Remember, no one has ever died from quitting!
Post roll and look up at your inbox (1). That is a personal message from me with my telephone number. Use that number when you need to talk to someone. Lets get your quit started today. Wayne

Wayne pretty much summed it up. Becoming a active quitter on KTC has a added benefit of having many others that are going through exactly the same steps of quitting and they can understand your pain. Anxiety and depression can be a big issue when quitting because many of us were self medicating with nicotine. Fully embraceing the suck is important but also embrace the KTC plan.
