Howdy fellow quitters.  I will figure out how to post roll and all that soon as possible.  I'm on 'lunch' right now and have no time.  I work on a rig and we have to wolf our lunch in a trailer.  I have dippers and chewers on all sides and I am actively trying to introduce them to 'Orbit' gum.  Not many takers.  I will have to  post sporadically.  Nature of the job.  I'm tryin' not to be a basterd to my cohorts.  They have been looking at me kind of funny.  Lol!!
C'mon.....that sounds like bullshit. It takes 30 seconds to get on here and promise us you won't dip all day. You got 30, took you longer than that to open a can.

You sound like your leaving yourself an out, and that leads to failure.

This is war and this is tough. You gotta commit to the quit, or the nic bitch will find her way back into your life.

Half-ass will not work.
redyota is correct.

Don't half-ass this or it wont work, period.
You're surrounded by dippers which makes it that much more hard for you.

You only need a few seconds to post roll. Make it happen. Get it done. Don't fuck around with your quit. You had enough time on your lunch to put up that comment.

The second that you decide you've got this problem licked is the same time the Nic Bitch rips your fucking heart out.

Stay Strong-Stay Quit.

Stinkfinger? Ouch!!!

I pitched everything and tonight I'm closing out my 3rd day without nicotine....in any form. Yeah, it's a bitch. Another day or two of this shit and I'm gonna begin to sound like you guys.

Sorry I rubbed so many raw nerves with my intro. I was just being honest about how long I've been addicted to this crap. And, hell yes I had a dip in my mouth when I happened up on this site. Every damn one of you did too until you made the decision to quit. You've gotta start somewhere! I read up on some of the material on here and pitched everything that night. I'm giving it the best shot I've got. That's all I can say.

Either I got off on the wrong foot or there's just a lot of generally pissed off people on here. I wish all of you much success in your quits and I hope ya'll ( those who care to ) wish me the same.

Stinkfinger lol
Welcome, and I'm bettin' not one of these people were pissed. Every one of us was trying to get you to do what you did, which is toss the can.

Now, if you cave, you'll find out what a group of pissed off quitters really looks like. Trust me, it ain't pretty.

Next step, go post roll. If you spent that much time reading the site, you should know how, and why it's important.

PM me if you need help.

skoalman......Hey, I found this site while looking for a coupon to buy dip the next day. Im on my 7th day now and I did it the only way....I just quit. Regardless of its form.....nicotine is nicotine....screw the gum or the lozenges or the fucking stupid looking electronic cigarettes (BTW....the next time I see someone gnawing on one of thise electronic smokes.....Im throwing a big fucking rock at them)....Get through the 72 hour soak, let your body purge itself of the nicotine, and move on. It sounds easy....it sucks but IT CAN BE DONE. PM me if you need anything man.

Good move Skoalman!!

Don't be offended by the comments. It's pretty much a "tough love" kinda thing.
We are very serious here about the Quit and we will do everything in our power to make sure that you are too.

Welcome aboard, join the January group (if you haven't already), and get ready for the battle. You've got an army of support behind you.

PM me if I can be of any assistance.

Get rid of it all. Take it from a guy who tried to quit with the nic gum. I chomped on that shit for a year before saying fuck it and went back to the can.
Then I used the nic lozenge, chomped on that shit for a year before saying fuck it and went back to the can.

SEE THE PATTERN HERE??!!

You need to get the nicotine out of your system, not substitute the intake.
Nicotine delivery is still nicotine delivery. Get that shit out of your body, it sucks but it is worth it.
I agree.

Going cold turkey is what makes you want your quit more. The suck gives you something to fight through and when you get to the other side you dont want to go back. The hell you just went through getting the bitch out of your body will become the reminder of why you never want it back again.

Embrace the suck and move one. It is the first step in many to the HOF and the rest of your life clean and nic free.
Fuck em all and fucking no regrets.
