Update 2:
Physically I don't feel to bad, mentally I'm totally shit for brains right now. Not sure if I could tie my shoes.
All the members that have contacted me and encouraged me throughout the day. THANKS!!!!
A little more about me. I started dipping when I was 11 or 12 yrs old. I started with a few buddies who are older. We would steal snuff and chew from gas stations after school when we were in jr. High school. The first time I took a pinch I was hooked. The bitch had her fangs in me from the first taste. Before I knew it I was dipping in class and taken an 1.5 hour shower everynight to get in my last dip before bed without my parents knowing what I was doing. Lol
After highschool I dipped more then a can a day. The last few yrs I have averaged 10 cans a week. The only time I have been nicotine free was during Navy boot camp in the winter of 1999.
Until today!!!!!!!
Im so fortunate to have found this site and I'm very thankful for all the help and support.
Keep kick'n ass mofo's

Hey brother the answer to your tying shoes thing is Velcro shoes or flip flops.
I am right there with you at starting way too fucking early, except that bad news is that in my town I was able to buy it at the age of 12, not legally but I still bought it.
Keep good notes about these days of the "SUCK", use them to fuel your quit. Remember every shitty day, hour, minute and second and use that because you will need to reference it again later I promise you that.
Keep on quitting and do this
Pinched has a great idea w the flip flops!
Great to talk to you tonight. You are in the heart of the battle right now. I ran down the list of quitters that have posted with you, and you've got some kick ass troops that will help you along the way. - we are just a text or phone call away. The next few days are gonna be tough - exercise, drink water, gum , candy, fake, whatever you have to do to keep nicotine out.
By the way, you are setting a great example for your boys. Tonight you should be proud that you are doing something you've wanted to do for a long time. Tonight you are doing. Not trying. Not stopping. Doing.
Congrats on day 1!
Keep battling bro! Being a shit for brains is normal. The ONE thing you need to keep clear as day is -- that you will stay quit today. That needs to be your focus right now. The fog sets in on us all... that is when you got to hold tight this quit. Read this... I was trolling the KTC site and found this on a badass quitter named Skoal Monster's into. You can do this! It needs to be top priority!

There is only one thing that I must accomplish today, and that is to not chew.
If I get other things done today, great.
But everything else has second priority for now.
Soon I'll be able to focus on those other things too.
But for right now, for today, this is the only thing that matters.
I won't demand more of myself, and I won't get down on myself for not doing anything else if I don't get to it.
This is damn damn damn hard work, and it's the most important work that I have right now.
I'll be truly and sincerely proud if I meet no goals today other than keeping that crap out of my mouth
