You know what day 2 means. It means you made it through one, so you can damn sure make it through two. One day at a time my friend. I can make you two promises.

One  everything will get a lot better. You have forgotten life without the poison. Let me tell you it is so much better than life with it. My worst day without the poison is better than my best day with it.

Two things will not be easy for you a while, but you can do it one day at a time. Read this,,,, http://www.killthecan.org/your-quit/wha ... omment-938.

Stay quit my friend,, your worth the craves, insomnia, and anything else you might go through. You can do this,, your doing it right now.....

The poison sucks. I hate it. I hated it this morning, I hated it at noon, I hated it at supper and I hate it tonight. I enjoy hating it so much I'm going to wake up tomorrow and start over hating it. I quit with anyone that wants to hate it with me.

NOT TODAY BITCH!!!

These are my words for today!!!

Sleep was rough last night. I woke often and had twitching and jumping fits to help comfort me!! Lol

aint this a bitch!!

I feel wired backwards. This fog is killer.

Thats all I got for now.

Peace!!
Glad to see your name on the roll way early. Day 2 is locked down now!

You are about halfway to getting the poison worked out of your system. And you'll never have to relive day 1 again!

Enjoy your second day of freedom!
Now that is the attitude to bring into this day 2! Your foggy and feel a little off... roger that and that totally normal. The poison is draining out of you as I type this! Drink fluids and stay on this thing. Remember that you only focus on being quit TODAY! You can do this bro! I'm quit with you today!

Remember the fog, embrace the suck. Your doing great roughshod, remember how you feel now so you won't have to repeat these days, because that's what happens when you slip back into the Nic Bitch's arms.

Quit all day with you!

Day of First!!!!!!

Today was the first day for a lot of things in my life. The number 1 and most important is I introduced no nicotine into my veins today.

Tonight was the first time I have showered and shaved without a scooby snack (death in a can) since Jr.High!!

I called several total fuckin strangers for support and encouragement!!!!

Now I lie in bed wondering if sleep is possible.

As the day of first comes to a close I want to thank all involved with the site and those who have held me accountable and supported me today. Also all those that held you accountable and supported you on your day 1.

Keep kick'n ass mofo's

Roughshod78.
Well done sir. Welcome to freedom one day at a time. Oh its going to suck at first. But trust us. Life gets so much better without nicotine. Drink the KTC koolaid. You will be just fine. Congrats on day 1 in the books.

Was good to talk to you bro. Im glad you called... You're startin' off perfect man! Keep it up and know that we've got your back.

Update 2:

Physically I don't feel to bad, mentally I'm totally shit for brains right now. Not sure if I could tie my shoes.

All the members that have contacted me and encouraged me throughout the day. THANKS!!!!

A little more about me. I started dipping when I was 11 or 12 yrs old. I started with a few buddies who are older. We would steal snuff and chew from gas stations after school when we were in jr. High school. The first time I took a pinch I was hooked. The bitch had her fangs in me from the first taste. Before I knew it I was dipping in class and taken an 1.5 hour shower everynight to get in my last dip before bed without my parents knowing what I was doing. Lol
After highschool I dipped more then a can a day. The last few yrs I have averaged 10 cans a week. The only time I have been nicotine free was during Navy boot camp in the winter of 1999.

Until today!!!!!!!
Im so fortunate to have found this site and I'm very thankful for all the help and support.

Hey brother the answer to your tying shoes thing is Velcro shoes or flip flops.

I am right there with you at starting way too fucking early, except that bad news is that in my town I was able to buy it at the age of 12, not legally but I still bought it.

Keep good notes about these days of the "SUCK", use them to fuel your quit. Remember every shitty day, hour, minute and second and use that because you will need to reference it again later I promise you that.

Keep on quitting and do this
Pinched has a great idea w the flip flops!

Great to talk to you tonight. You are in the heart of the battle right now. I ran down the list of quitters that have posted with you, and you've got some kick ass troops that will help you along the way. - we are just a text or phone call away. The next few days are gonna be tough - exercise, drink water, gum , candy, fake, whatever you have to do to keep nicotine out.

By the way, you are setting a great example for your boys. Tonight you should be proud that you are doing something you've wanted to do for a long time. Tonight you are doing. Not trying. Not stopping. Doing.

Congrats on day 1!
Keep battling bro! Being a shit for brains is normal. The ONE thing you need to keep clear as day is -- that you will stay quit today. That needs to be your focus right now. The fog sets in on us all... that is when you got to hold tight this quit. Read this... I was trolling the KTC site and found this on a badass quitter named Skoal Monster's into. You can do this! It needs to be top priority!

Spongebob Mantra

There is only one thing that I must accomplish today, and that is to not chew.
If I get other things done today, great.
But everything else has second priority for now.
Soon I'll be able to focus on those other things too.
But for right now, for today, this is the only thing that matters.
I won't demand more of myself, and I won't get down on myself for not doing anything else if I don't get to it.
This is damn damn damn hard work, and it's the most important work that I have right now.
I'll be truly and sincerely proud if I meet no goals today other than keeping that crap out of my mouth

Ok quick update:

I cant believe how kick ass this site and it's members are!!

I'm holding strong and really appreciate everyone who has posted or contacted me.

I have been drinking lots of water and using mints and some all mint snuff (no tobacco or nic.)
The motivation from the stories on this site are keeping my spirits high even as my mind is starting to feel foggy.

It means alot.to know that others have walked this path and not only have they remained free of the nic they are sticking around to help a whore like me. Pretty fuckin awesome!!!

Peace out
We have all been whores change the mindset and take your life back. You are doing it. Embrace the suck embrace how fuckin awful you feel its the poison leaving your veins. The first step in beating back the addict in you.
Way to rip off that patch this morning, post roll and quit! Welcome aboard. Do what you have to to stay quit today. You can do this!

This is good stuff man. Trauma hit on something really key to your survival and attitude ~ change your mindset. Once you embrace how much this sucks, once you accept that this is the price you pay for freedom, once you start to see life is WAY better without being drugged up... We'll take this quit to 11! Shoot me a pm dude... Let's swap numbers. Start to build your foundation. Rock on...
