Update Day5:

I got to take my 9 year old to his first college football game today. Go POKES!!!

Because of this site and how awesome all of the veterans that have gone before us are I went, to the before mentioned game, with no nicotine!!

Allow me to repeat that.

I TOOK MY 9 YEAR OLD SON TO A COLLEGE FOOTBALL GAME WITH NO POISON IN MY FACE!!!

I have trouble expressing how much that means to me.

A simple thank you is all I can say.

Congrats on day 5 bro  on getting to take your son to the game nic free! Don't worry about having trouble expressing it we've all been there. Going to a game, long roadtrips, mowing the lawn, remember for us ex dippers there wasn't an activity that at the time we thought was being made better, so there's alot of relearning to do  alot of first time experiences without dip! So that's huge bro! Congrats!

It's day5 of the quit for me. Physically I'm still having some moments of severe fog but the majority of the time my head is clear.

The nic bitch is a cunning twat huh? I had a real close one the other night. I was driving back from my folks and needed some ice. I was gonna stop by the store and get some. The nic bitch convinced me I should pickup.a can! 'Crazy'

my thinking (which was addict talk) was I could take a big fat chaw after I get the boys to bed and no one need no about it!!

Is that some fucked up shit or what. I had given my word to mh brothers on this sight and had completed my 72hours to get through the physical withdraws, and that little cunt the nic bitch had me convinced I could get away with it. No strings attached she said.

I made the safe decision and went with Fuck the ice!! Lol

I couldn't stop at the store and haven't been into a gas station in 5 days.

I'll be going to my first College football game quit today in Stillwater.

Kinda bummed I wont be able to have some beers before the game but it sure as hell ain't worth breakin my word and fuckin up 5 days of badass quit.

I gotta get around to head for Stillwater.

I didn't go in a convenience store for 6 months. No lie. I'm surprised the one closest to my house survived after I stopped my kodiak purchases. Now, when I go in, it takes every bit of energy that I have to not grab the teenage boys that are buying cans and shake them. Because I wish someone had done it for me when I was 16.

Update Day3 Lot:

Just ate lunch. Bbq with chocolate cake, yeah it was epic!!!!!

After lunch is definitely a trigger my plan for today is to continue to read and post on the site and if needed take a nice brisk walk.

Now that I think on it that is always the plan. Read, post, Don't fuckin dip!!!

I damn sure ain't sayin it's easy, for most of us it is the hardest motha fuckin thing we ever do.
I am sayin I know the secret to it all I just fuckin figured it all out!!!!

Congrats on getting it done for day #3! You're just about to 72hrs now. You're right, this is about the hardest thing ever. The veterans tell me it gets so much better  so worth it,  I'm starting to learn that. The physical is bad enough, but the mental symptoms are or can be way worse! I didn't expect that for me at all. I thought I'd just have to beat back the physical, wasn't prepped for the mental. Not at all. Keep doin what you're doin by reading  posting  you got this beat! ODAAT

The avatar ahs to be a web image. If you have one you like there are free posting sites out there, that you can get a link to paste in from the free image server.

I am a member of many forums and use Photobucket to post pictures on all of them. I can't get one posted on here to save my life. I'm going to PM you a link of what I want and see if you can help me.
