Thanks. So, what's "post roll?" I'm actually trying to get work done, but can't concentrate to read through the whole site rules and terminology and I keep jumping around. Sorry.

Yep, its the fog getting ya, don't worry it does get better!
Go to quit groups, then find December 2016 quit group, go to the most recent page and "quote" the last post, hit select all and cut to the top window, post your name on the bottom with the rest of December quitters and days quit and pledge you will not do any sort of nicotine today. If you are a person of your word, you will not want to let any of the rest of us down that are going through the same thing.

See you there...

Hi, I chewed Cope for almost 40 years, sometimes stopping for awhile and smoking/chewing cigars. Finally, I'm on about three weeks without nicotine. My dry and numb mouth are driving me nuts. My tongue sticks to the sides of my lower jaw at night while sleeping, my tongue feels like it's coated with cotton flannel and I'm frustrated and pissed off about lots of stuff. So, from what I've read, this is normal withdrawal. I'm concerned about the dry mouth issues. Reassure me, does this happen a lot? I do plan on seeing my dentist soon, but in the meantime, what is the groups opinion?
Excuse me while I chew on some toothpicks, fingernails, and try not to get mad at my dog, or chew his nails.
Peace,
Bob
I had dry mouth for a few days, nothing long term. Join us here and post roll every morning, you will be in the December quit group. I quit on September 14 and this site is invaluable. Be strong!

Thanks for your support. Even gum tastes bad. I'll get a drink of water.

Bob,
I didn't have those same symptoms but dry mouth and cotton tongue sound like a symptom of quitting chew.
