So for some reason I feel the need to write about how things have been going. Today I posted Day 845. Nothing special about that number. My wife just posted 456 days, which is really cool.

I am amazed there is already an August 2013 Pre-HOF group set up, and I am saddened by the people who I see online in other places but don't take the time to post roll with us - you know, that whole 15-second process.

Guys, it is worth it. If you are on day 1, 100, 300, 400....it doesn't matter. What matters is that you are here and you are posting your word and you are putting yourself out there to support your brother or sister.

Please don't give up. Fight this beast until you have won. That may not be until I die, but I will fight nonetheless.

Quit on.

~Frazz
Well done to you and the wife, I will stand shoulder to shoulder with you 2 throughout this fight as it is totally worth it.

And agree that from what I have learned that this site is so unique to provide the path to not only quit, but to maintain that quit for a long time. I mean if you join and open up, not only do you get a cancer causing agent out of your life, but by putting yourself out there, you gain some real life friends that can mean just that much more/better life that before you started in the quit.

+1 one today, and will tell you that tomorrow morning as well. Very Proud to Stand Tall.
Congrats Frazz. Glad you've come this far. My only fear has been looking over my shoulder the whole way and seeing you behind me...with that look in your eye...like Fat Albert looking a jelly doughnut.

So today I hit the 6th floor. 600 days without ingesting that poisonous drug, nicotine.

It does get easier, and as time has gone on, I have found that there is a true sacredness in posting my promise. It takes the power of nicotine away.

Nicotine holds no power over me. Today.

What has happened over these 600 days?

I took my life back.
My wife joined the site, and she took her life back.
I've seen countless quitters take their lives back.
I've seen lots of people get complacent, and either drift away only to post a Day 1, or drift away entirely.

You control how much power nicotine has over you today. Post up. Keep your word. Repeat when the sun comes up the next day.

The view looks fine from here...

Quit on.

Thank you, KTC, for helping make the Frazzled household completely nicotine free. The support here is awesome. The friendships are real. The brotherhood and accountability are tremendous.

To anyone just thinking of quitting, it can be done. Come on in...that water's fine.

Two days ago, I hit the 4th floor. What a glorious view it is from here. I hardly ever think about dip itself, though I still use the fake stuff every now and again. But I know I am not healed for good.

There is some fear and trepidation as well. Between 0 and 99 days was the HOF. Between 100-200, there were celebrations at 150 and 2nd floor. Between 250-300, there was a quarter comma and 3rd floor. Between 300-400, I get 1 year plus 4th floor. What now?

What now? I'll be here every morning, posting up as I did on the previous 402 days, climbing the stairs to a half comma. I've seen it done before. And I will be part of the next group that does it.

Will it be easy? No. Simple? Yes. Like my good friend NOLAQ says, Wash, Rinse, Repeat.

I'll see you all tomorrow. Let's quit again together, ok?

Quit on.

~Frazz
This needs to be posted on new quitter's intros. This is what the other side looks like new quitters. It rocks! Wake up and smell the freedom.

Today, I am able to say that my wife has joined the site. I am hopeful she will post an intro, but I want to speak to this from my point of view only for a moment...

This site has such an incredible ability to affect the lives of of not only its members, but those who live with them, as well as other family members. This is a wonderful thing.

We all have the opportunity to change the lives of people we know, people we meet, people who may not want to hear about it...all by simply saying "kill the can". So simple, yet so powerful.

382 days right now...heading to floor 4 soon. Getting someone I love so very much to post a Day 3 is so more important than that.

Quit on.
