Hello all,

I'm very happy to have found this community, and I'm looking forward to engaging with you all as I work to stay quit.
I've been dipping Grizzly for ~10 years, about 1 can/day, and it's been a huge problem for many family members and friends of mine. After a couple very somber conversations with my girlfriend of 3 years (she's just recently learned about my addiction) I've realized that I could throw away our relationship if I don't get past this. I wouldn't forgive myself for that, I'm afraid.

So here I am - I'm excited to have a group to hold me accountable, to reach out to, and composed of people who know exactly what I'm going through.

Cheers to quitters!
Welcome buddy, my october mate. I quit with you today and every other day.

Welcome Grizz. You can do this...but you have to do it for you. Ultimately your girlfriend will benefit from your quit, but you cannot quit for her, it won't stick. What's the first thing you're going to do when you two get in a big fight, or heaven forbid, you guys break up? Back to banging the can. You have to quit for YOU. The rest of your relationships will sort themselves out.

That being said, you've made a great decision to take your life back today. Each day you commit to your quit, post roll, and keep your promise is another day of freedom that nicotine did not allow you to have. Now you're in control again. The only way you lose that control is to consciously concede that a plant pumped full of poison is stronger than you are. One day at a time. Post your promise. Keep your promise. Repeat.

Proud to quit with you today.

Congratulations GrizzBuster on making one of the best decisions of your life! The method to the KTC madness can be found in its banner: Brotherhood + Accountability = Success. The way to ensure that is to go on over to October 2018 and post your name (GrizzBuster), your day count (1) and your promise not to use nicotine in any form for the day. The tomorrow, first thing, go do it again. October 2018 is your month, because that is the month when you and your brothers/sisters will all reach 100 days quit together.

Jump in with both feet and LET'S DO THIS!!!
Just one and you will be back to where you started, and where you started was desperately wishing you were where you are now.
