Hello everyone I'm new to here and i am looking for advice and help if at all possible. A little background on me, i started dipping when i was 14 and have veen trying unsuccessfully to quit after 20 years. At onw point and time i was up to about 2 to 2.5 cans a day. I really want to quit and stay quit, but i find the cravings to be too much. Anyone have suggestions on how to get past them (the longest i have went without a chew was about a day and a half )
Yep, just do it! You're no more or less of an addict than the rest of us. If I can quit after 40+ years you can too! Make your commitment every morning, make it a promise to your quit group by posting roll and keep your word. Get to know your fellow group addicts and lean on each other when the bitch comes calling with the craving.

  • Interests: Yes, ma'am. I've killed Doyle Hargraves with a lawnmower blade. Yes, ma'am, I'm right sure of it. I hit him two good whacks in the head with it. That second one just plum near cut his head in two... It's a lil' ol' white house on the corner of Vine Street and some other street.

You sound a lot like me 245 days ago. Let's get the truth up front here, the first couple days are going to be rough. There is a physical bond to this drug, and we have to break that. This lasts a few days. This place will help you, but you have to be all in. Are you free of nicotine now? Also, you really need to dump all your stashes. Flush them, at 2am on day 2 you might pick them out of the trash.
