So Another day down, and another day I have posted roll.  I've found out that the hardest times for me during the day are right when I wake up and right before bed.  Both of those were huge triggers for me.  First thing I used to do when I woke up, is throw in a fat chaw before I brushed my teeth...gross. And then another right before I fell asleep and sometimes wouldn't brush my teeth before bed...Even more gross! But anyways, another day I quit with all of you!
Replace the trigger. Like brushing your teeth every day, first thing in the morning, post roll. While typing your name you will make that promise to your brothers. That is a good habit that allows you to be free for the rest of the day.

It gets soooooo much easier especially if you post roll first thing in the morning and just win your battles today.

464 day nic free for me and my quit is as easy as brushing my teeth morning and night. I love quitting. I love not being controlled by my addiction. My early quit was a nightmare and hell but I quit every damn day. Today it is easier. Stay true to your promise and word today. Screw forecasting and put your heart and soul into today.
Thanks MThomas, I actually did that today when I woke up. First thing I did, got up and brushed my teeth, and shit that felt WAYY better than putting in that cancer shit in my lip. Already posted roll and have made my commitment to stay nic free today!

Also, I convinced my roommate to finally quit!! He has joined us brothers and sisters in this never ending fight against this addiction!! Go show him some love and help him out on here as well. His name is "SuckMyDip" HAHAHAHAHA

P.S. MIAMI HEAT NBA CHAMPS BABY!!!!!

You'll find in time ktb that the triggers that happen on a daily basis are the easy ones to deal with. Heck, they happen everyday, so you'll beat them down with out a problem in no time.

It's the ones that sneak up on you. Those are the ones that are a little more difficult. Not to scare you,, just prepare you. You are doing great man, stay the course. Glad to be quit with you.

Well, I tried my best to go all day yesterday without getting the fake stuff and I was doing pretty well, but went and grabbed a can of Smokey Mountain at about 3 PM yesterday. Only ended up using it twice but it was a nice accomplishment to not have it for a full day and then some. So from here on out, I'm going to go as long as I can without using it. I quit another day brothers and sisters!!

You have been doing great ktb. If the only thing you have been concerned about everday is whether to put the fake in your pie hole or not then you got this bro. I don't know why this is such a big deal for some. I used it the first 40. I never even considered not using it because my 25 year addiction had my mind all screwed up. Bottom line the stuff helped. Screw what other people thought. After I hit 40 or so, I wanted to kick it and did so with no problem. Don't beat yourself up to bad about it. i would recommend it early in the quit in a heart beat. I quit with you today.

So I have been thinking for the last couple of days...

I just ran out of my Smokey Mountain today.  I was thinking that tomorrow I am going to do my best to just not even use that at all tomorrow.  Just my candies, seeds, and gum.  And if all else fails, I can just drive up to Wal-Mart and buy it if it gets to be unbearable.

Just my thought of the night..

Goodnight bad asses!
If you think you're ready, then by all means.

Good night John Boy!
It's something what the addict can think about for two days, isn't it? Keep the real stuff out brother. Honor your word. You got this one day at a time.
Well I did it! I made it the whole day without the smokey mountain and I am still nic free! However, I do think I'm going to go grab some tomorrow because it was pretty damn difficult. But it was totally worth it but that stuff helps wonders, I won't lie.
At this point in your quit it's the mental fucking game one must play....anything though is better than sticking a shit turd in your mouth (of real Nic). IMHO try another day or 2 without and see how you feel then. No matter what keep fighting the good fight. Proud to be quit with you today.

We all want progress, but if you're on the wrong road, progress means doing an about-turn and walking back to the right road; in that case, the man who turns back soonest is the most progressive.

Has tobacco been so kind to you that you should leave it with regret? There are far better things ahead than any we leave behind.
