One day at a time, whsii you've added them up and been a great example. It's not always easy, but that's the key: just for today. You post roll and that promise takes it off the table, it's not even an option. You get it and that makes me stronger also. Thanks for your support, happy 500 amigo.

Great brothers = Great Examples.

Bring your quit 1 day at a time. Showing it can be done is enough. The ball then is in his court.

Adding a post to get moved onto the first page.

I'm desparately trying to have my brother join. He's long-time dipper (much longer than me.) I smoked for 30 years before I chose the can. Christ, what an idiot I was!!

Anyway, want him to read this and, get his ass on board with us.

LISTEN UP WHSII UPON A STAR...During the Hyborian age, a man was bestowed a sword to fight both evil of this world and that of sorcery. You, my friend, have reached that crossroad. With your mighty sword you shall travel the lands...seeking riches and bitches. When you meet the foul mouth of the nicotine heathen, you shall unleash your
massive steel and plunge it deep into the nether region of that creighton. You'll slay that devil keep its spine to hang from your codpiece as a reminder of
your triumph over evil. This you shall do...

No thanks necessary. Glad you're here and made the decision to do it.
Soul is dusting off those palm-palms, getting ready for his cheer. I see the smirk on his face as he tries to hide the smile.

You made the right decision and you only have to go through this ONE time. Welcome to the suck, embrace it, this is the beginning of your freedom.

Thanks to Souliman for pissing me off like I haven't been in a long time, I had my first "true" nicotine-free day yesterday. I have thrown out the patches.

I want to thank you all for your words of wisdom.

I won't be your cheerleader. You're a coward. No balls. "when I am brave enough"? How the hell do you get up and face the world everyday? You should stay in bed. God forbid you should have to tap the inner strength that the rest of us did to fight addiction. The strength we use everyday to fight to make us complete. To make us responsible dads, good partners, outstanding fire fighters, leaders of our military, caring doctors, cops protecting the rest of us, all kinds of folks. They have shown they have the balls to do it. No one is special here. We just made the decision to take back our lives and be who we were meant to be.
Ditto on this. In my humble opinion, you are wasting our time by coming in here and having that attitude and quite frankly it does not help a pussy like me see it. We need strength in here and confidence and your comments do not express that. Are you fucking serious? Not ready to give up putting the patch on? Please. You are simply continuing to be controlled by the nicotine demon in your head. After many years of heavy use I finally had enough and joined this site, utilized the resources and am continuing to remain quit everyday. If my sorry ass can do it then you certainly can. It takes one thing in my opinion....the thing that Souliman said you do not have with your attitude ---- BALLS. Man up and get proactive here - we'll support you.
