This is about the 3rd go around to trying to quit.

Going to school trying to attain my Masters in Hospital Administration is a bigger desire then waking up trying to find a mask to hide my face when it gets surgically removed.

Welcome and great posting Day 3! We don't 'try' around here, we do. You stopped twice before, and stopping doesn't stick. You only quit once.

I work in the medical field, saw patients every day for 7 years and would sit dipping in the car during lunch break or sneak into the bathroom for a 5 minute frantic dip the whole time. Nothing makes you feel like a hypocrite more than working in the medical field and being slave to tobacco. You have made the only choice that will give you integrity as you pursue that MHA.

$150/month is $1800 per year, take taxes into consideration and you will be saving something like $2300 of your pre-tax salary per year. That's no small amount in my wallet.

Sup fellow quitters! This is about the 3rd go around to trying to quit. Had a hard time since high school ball, dipping was a a second nature. 8 years later, mouth cancer is a bigger worry then getting the next lip in.

I know I'm strong enough to do it cold turkey, believe that's the best and only way to really do it. So cheers to y'all quitting in my group, and to those ahead of me. As well as the extra 150$ a month in my pocket lol. I read some of the posts from the older members, and realize how much we all have in common. Thinking son of a bitch if I don't get one soon someone's heads ganna get knocked off. But, realization sets in. My health, my mouth, my future is more important than a can chewing away at my gums and life. Going to school trying to attain my Masters in Hospital Administration is a bigger desire then waking up trying to find a mask to hide my face when it gets surgically removed.

Glad I found this forum, look forward to meeting some of you all.

I am only as free as the last can I threw out my car window from the disgust of continuing to poison my body. NO LONGER will I let a PLANT hold onto my LIFE stronger than MYSELF.

I can KillTheCan, so can you.
