You'll find tons of support on this site Mike. Posting role is like voodoo on my quit, it will work for you too if you're a man of your word. Read the information on this site and then read it again. It has helped me get through craves, the fog, everything. If you need help, don't be afraid to ask. PM me if you need a number.

It was close to 30 years of "bullshit" for me......you came to the right place to quit...get numbers....read all you can and post roll everyday like your life depends on it....because it does.
Chew is for the weak, the ignorant, the stupid.....don't be stupid. Not stupid as of 11/28/10
Before you cave read this http://forum.killthecan.org/index.php?showtopic=4938
Acting with almost as much speed as cyanide, nicotine is well
established as one of the most toxic drugs known. In humans,
60mg (a drop) is a lethal dose, and death follows intake within a few minutes. Dr. Charles Ksir

Taking the step

Has it been 10 years? Or was it 12? 13 maybe? At this point I can't remember. All I know is that it's been too long. Too damn long. Yes, I've had my brief interruptions to the chewing life, (I refuse to say that I "quit") that were quickly brought to an end for any number of pathetic reasons. I've thrown away cans as soon as I've bought them, only to turn around a few hours later and head right back to the store. I've bought a bottle of water simply to dump the contents and use it as a spitter. I've tried every imaginable brand, flavor, and cut. And I've given every lame-ass excuse in the book for putting off quitting. I've come here in order to not fail again. No more feeble attempts. No more being weak. No more bullshit excuses. I came here for help. I came here for support. I hope to explore the site and take full advantage of the resources and support network. Now to get started....
