Everybody has to fight for their freedom from nicotine. There are no short cuts. No pills, no patches, no bullshit. There is but one way to quit...and you already know what to do.

The good news is that you're not alone. You've taken the first step. Let us help you with the rest. We're counting on you, too.

I remember thinking this was kinda cool...in a sorta sick way. Nobody can do it for you. You can't buy your way out. You can't cheat. Nicotine doesn't care who you are or what your excuse is. If you want freedom, you have to earn it. And we're here to help you...every step of the way.

So post roll, keep your word, and repeat. Stay strong, stay quit and live free.

what was I thinkin buying nicotine losenges? flushed them too! having some rough periods but powering through them
Let's hope so, Devo. All that shit will do is prolong the inevitable suck we all must go through. If it helped you for a few days then great. But here now is a nic free zone.
Good to see you back. Didn't see your name for roll on Monday and thought you kept right on dipping.
And happy belated birthday. Think I remember you saying it was yours yesterday the other day when we chatted.
Good to hear!

Tobacco is not the addiction. Nicotine is.

Even though I tried using it nicotine replacement is the dumbest thing I have ever heard.

Seriously. How often would you recommend that an alcoholic switch from beer to vodka and tonic to quit alcohol? Or a crack addict switch to snorting cocaine as a means to quit the crack?

It is time for you to get clean. Clean is nicotine free. Welcome to the site.
The replacement stuff is absolutely the stupidest thing! I've posted this to a few guys discussing gum and lozenges but a buddy of mine went from a $30 a week addiciton to skoal to a $50 a week addiciton to nicorette gum! And his reasoning was "at least it won't give me cancer"..........whatever?!?!?!? Using gum and lozenges you are still addicted to a drug that runs your life and the shit costs a small fortune!

Stay nic free.......it will suck for a few days but you'll get over it! Stay strong and proud to be quit with you!

Devo,

Your addiction wants nicotine (makes sense because that is what you are addicted to)---we are a no nicotine site---period! No more nicotine --ever.

Make sure you post roll--man up--the pain is temporary.

You got this!
