Congrats on the decision to quit being a slave to the can! We do this thing One Day At A Time. Your Pre-HOF class (when you will reach 100 days) is the May group. Head on over there and post roll. Just grab the most recent on. Hit quote and post by the red line with your screen name, day count and promise not to use nicotine for today.

Don't worry about "forever". No one can quit forever. Every single one of us can quit today though. Do that instead.

Sometimes that sucks though. Sometimes you have to quit for just the next hour. Or the next few minutes for that crave. Do that too.

The more contacts you have and USE, the easier this is going to be. It sounds stupid, but it works. You will be QUIT as long as you do this:

1) Wake up
2) Piss
3) Post roll
4) KEEP YOUR WORD
5) Repeat daily

Drink lots of water for the next few days. The "fog" is real, but you can push through it. I'm in it to win it- Are you?

@TheUndertaker your right thank you i posted roll for day 1. I hope it worked and is in the right spot. Yes sometimes I get hung up on the future. I can't forget I need to focus on the day hour minute secs just get through the craving with compromise.

It sucks. We all get it. I’ll be proud to quit with you. Come back on first thing when you wake up and post roll. I’ll be posted below in the supporters line. Your group already has a few members. Get to know them. Exchange numbers via private message only.  If you want mine, ask.

If you need a distraction read, check out my intro:

@TheUndertaker. I'm having Abit of trouble navigating this forum. I posted roll this morning. But not sure if it's in the right spot. Is there someone in my group I should be directing questions too.
You did it right! If you have questions ask them here or in your quit group just hit the reply button at the top of the page. Good  job!

I've quit more.times than I can count, but always fail from a random craving weeks out. The most I've gone is 34 days nic free. I hope with this site i may have a chance to quit forever
@Vin70 ....welcome to KTC. This is a place for quitters. I want to caution you on a couple of things. 1.) Your mindset is EVERYTHING. If you haven’t made your mind up, then you aren’t ready. 2.) You have never quit. You have only paused or took breaks. You only quit once. 3.) If you jump in fully, I mean really drink the kool aid, you will be successful. Post roll..do it early, right after you wake up. That takes nicotine off the table for the day. Post your promise and keep it. We are a nicotine free community. NO NICOTINE containing products are allowed. Get to know other quitters. Exchange phone numbers for extra support. It seems weird, but it has saved me many times. You can do this if you choose and we will be here to support you(and give you a kick in the ###). Be strong and reach out if you need anything.

@dawgs thank you that makes a lot of sense-the right mindest is a very sobering thing to meditate on. I didn't mean to make offense to the word quit, I see the importance of what you mean by it and what it means to this gruop. I want this to be a serious thing and I will try my best thanks for your help
