@JoeyinAL  Here is the link that Keith gave you before https://ktcforum.org/index.php?topic=15852.0. I post 99% of the time from my phone and its not that hard just takes getting used to. We are here to help as you do not need to go it alone. Just ask and we will help as there are plenty of us who are willing. I will be looking for your post in the am and would like to see you there.

@JoeyinAL

How are you doing Bro?  Don't see you on roll yet?  Certainly hope you are still clean but this is a hard row to hoe on your own.  Guessing you've tried in the past and failed...much like ALL of us.  Posting roll is a small price to pay for freedom...and it works.  Please reach out if I can help in any way.  Good luck my friend.

Hell yeah man, you got this. Just remember all this stuff will be temporary. I'm no expert, only been free 2 weeks, but I am over the worst physical part and I am sure you can do it too.

I have know are you still dipping now? If you are its time to pitch everything you have and go cold turkey. You already have withdrawal symptoms from cutting back. Why not just quit it all and join. Its on you to do this and we are here to help. We are not docs but we can be a huge support group. Just dump it all and go post up my friend. They already provided the link and if you need help just ask. If you screw it up don't worry somebody will fix it and get you set straight. If you want my digits let me know in a pm as we all need quit buddies as thats what makes it stronger.

Hi Joey. I'm not in the medical field, so those numbers don't mean much to me.

Yeah, my only idea, thought, and opinion is to cut back to zero cans of Kodiak. Quit completely.

Go to your November quit group: https://ktcforum.org/index.php?topic=15852.0

Learn how to post roll. Make your promise to remain dip/nicotine free for 24 hours. Go back tomorrow, and every tomorrow afterward, and make the same promise again.

Keep drinking lots of water. Watch your diet. Get more physical activity. Get plenty of sleep.

^^^ He’s right, you know....

its time
« on: August 16, 2020, 08:20:27 PM »
Recently had labwork done. Its not good. I have minimal heart failure, take diuretics, and dipped tobacco for 37 years.
Labs were always normal until now.
So on july 13 my labs were
Rbc 6.17
Hematocrit 57.6
Hemoblobin 19.6
Cardiologist said to follow up with my normal dr.
I thought i might be dehydrated so made sure to drink alot and went from a can of kodiak per day to 2-3 cans a week.
On july 28 labs were
Rbc 5.99
Hematocrit 54
Hemoglobin 18.9
Iron 166
Reticulocytes 1.5%.
Reticulocyte count .0980
She referred me to a hematologist. My appt is Oct2.
Ive been having some symptoms for the past few months.  A few hours a day my feet are cold but it always goes away. Very few minor headaches. And some nervouseness. Also heavy legs and a feeling of unbalance. My symptoms are getting better and the numbers improved. I have a recheck on Aug25 and will see how numbers are then.
Any ideas, thoughts, or opinions are welcome.
Thanks And looks like im about to KILL THE CAN
