Posting of comments to the forums that are intended to be disruptive and antagonistic is what is commonly referred to as "Trolling". While I don't mind anyone sending me an email or pm to voice their opinion or objection, I do object to people posting these objections and criticisims in an open forum. Trolling has never and will never be acceptible and will not be tolerated. Further, the outright and deliberate posting of the links to your "alternate" site within our forum is again considered Trolling and is not allowed.
It is indeed a shame that it has come to this. What could have been discussed and handled privately amongst ourselves has turned into fiasco that many member wondering what is going on. I hope you are all satisfied with the results.
Therefore, with that said, I am taking the following action.
Your accounts will be left intact for as long as you abide by the rules. If any of you continue to post derrogatory, inflamatory and/or disruptive comments, your account, email address and ip addresses will be blocked indefinately from the site. Furthermore, you will clean up any derrogatory, inflamatory and/or disruptive posts from the forum that you may have posted, within the next 24 hours. Additionally, any and all links that you have posted to your competing site must be removed.
I fully expect an email from each of you within the next 8 hours, to let me know your intentions. If I fail to hear from you by Midnight tonight, I will assume that you have rejected my request.
