Has anyone else found that after 5 or so days, you feel like you're physically, emotionally and psychologically beaten to a pulp? I felt like that today. I have come way too far to even consider giving up, but I need to know if this goes away. Is there a way to counter this?
Folks may say tons of water, real cranberry juice, exercise, etc. Some or all may work to some extent, but the truth is that it's going to suck no matter what. Things get a lot better. Just buckle down until they do. It's different for everyone. One day at a time and you'll come out feeling great. Promise.
Exactly. Hence the saying - "embrace the suck".....Because it does suck. But the reward is so worth it.

Proverbs 18:2
"A fool takes no pleasure in understanding, but only in expressing his opinion."
A Quit Plan: Do you have one?
CLOSE THE DOOR. In my opinion, it?s the single most important step in your final quit. There is one moment, THE moment, when you finally let go and surrender to the quit.
After that moment, no temptation will be great enough, no lie persuasive enough to make you commit suicide by using tobacco. SportDad 1/13/05
Warm summer sun, shine kindly here;
Warm southern wind, blow softly here;
Green sod above, lie light, lie light.-
Good-night, dear heart, good-night.
Be silly, be honest, be kind
