Thanks my friends. 69 + 1 day = 70 and that is 10 weeks. That's not the HOF but to me it feels like a bit of a milestone. I think the last time I stopped using nicotine I may have made it 1 week. This means that I've already had 10 times more success quitting here than I did trying to quit by myself. I'm proud to quit with all of you today.

I vow to be on roll tomorrow. B)B
It gets even better Stranger. 1 month til HOF, and I promise it gets even better after that. You're one hell of a leader in December. Keep it up, it'll pay dividends in your quit.

I'm wrapping up day 62. My quit is going well although I still have some mouth issues and some occasional fog. These issues are slowly improving so I am not really worried about them at this point in time. Life is SO MUCH BETTER than it was on September 4th.

I reread my introduction thread again tonight. There is at least one person from my quit group who replied here who has caved, another that I am pretty sure caved, and a third who didn't want to post roll with my group and then showed up a few weeks ago on our roll to tell me that I was "disdainful and egotistic".

I thought about these people tonight and I hope they are all doing well. People here will leave the community. It doesn't mean that they are bad people, it just means that nicotine was too strong for them to resist, or that they didn't understand or agree with this website's message. Everyone is different. If you buy into being held accountable you will be here every morning ready to go.

I'm still here and I have quit for today. I vow to be here tomorrow.
You are bad ass.

The cavers are part of your quit. They are reminders that you are a winner and a glimpse of a life you have left behind... A life of deceit and shame.

The people who have left or are thinking of leaving are part of your quit. Because they have one foot back in bed with nicotine. And they are also telling you that this isn't a priority for them- brotherhood isn't as important as their addiction. Screw them.

The ones that post with you and text... Are obviously part of your quit. Salt of the earth. These will be lifelong relationships. Everyone wins.

Proud to quit with you today sir.
Good reflection Stranger, keep leading the way!

55 Days!

I'm not a military guy, but several of the men in my group are. I remember, around this point, them talking about how they were tired of the battle. It seemed like there was day after day of fighting the craves - sometimes almost to the point of exhaustion. Sleep was jacked, mouth hurt, anger and rage were consuming, and I just remember all of us were tired. It was a tough place.

Stranger, I promise you... Brighter days are just ahead. And then even brighter days... And then brighter! You are mastering the art of quitting, and you are about to reap the rewards. Trust me... While this is much more of a marathon than a sprint, you are at the cusp of some great days.

I'm honored to quit with you today, sir.

Hey stranger, just spreading some Disciple / quit love on your intro thread.

Proud to be quit with you!
Thanks man.

As I start into week 6 of being quit, I realize every day that this is a new reality. Me without Copenhagen long cut in my mouth.

5 weeks ago I didn't think that was possible. It really is possible and anyone reading this can make it happen. You just need to decide to do it.

I went to a party tonight. A few folks were smoking cigarettes and it didn't really affect me at all. Someone offered me some weed and I turned that down. I'm in this for the long haul folks. I think we should all make a plan for that. Day 100 will be here at some point. What happens after that?

Day 101. I hope everyone is ready for day 101 as it might be as important as day 1.
Wow let's ask ourselves this, how has my life changed since I quit nic? If that don't fire you up and get you to smiling, check your pulse! We will always be addicts but as long as we post and keep our word, Never user's again! 101 is better than 100 because it's another +1! Quit on my brother's and sisters!
^^^^

Thanks Pab  Nomore1959.

I'm about to complete 37 days here without nicotine. I'm already a third of the way to the HOF, and I am keeping track of the pre-HOF groups and January.

This is a challenge. Had I not gotten support here I probably would have caved weeks ago. My advice to others is to build a network here. I think Fowlmouth in January said that it is like a spider building a web of support. I like that analogy. B)B

You're doing great! You're learning that staying involved helping others also helps you. The mental part sucks but nothing you can't handle. Remember my brother I'm one pm away if you need me! ODAAT! EDD! Quit on!
Tobacco is so addictive it took me a year after a massive heart attack, in which doctor confirmed caused from dipping to finally put a lid on the bitch! ODAAT EDD

Day 101 is like most others. We aren't cured yet. Our quit is still a roller coaster. But life is better. The important thing is to realize we are addicts. That brotherhood and accountability will help us quit another day, ODAAT, EDD.

Like you, I have 35 years of dipping wired into my brain... that will take quite a few +1s to rewire. I used to wake  dip, now I wake  post. Life is better, I have a "extra" $50 a week, and I am free. I'll post everyday to keep that.
