Day 15 and I had my first dip dream. I don't recall dreaming about putting a dip in my mouth ever before.

Anyway I woke up and I'm quit. I can't wait to post roll again tomorrow with the rest of my December peeps.
Dip dreams suck. But they also remind you that you are winning.

It ducks that you wake up terrified of failure and sweaty. It is super awesome to snap out of it and feel victorious.
Yeah, in my dream I suddenly realized that I had to get the dip out of my mouth immediately, and that I would then have to face KTC and start at day 1 again on roll. When I woke up it was like "did that just happen? WTF". Then I just laughed because I know I am still quit. :D

I'm almost done day 16. Today was a big step. My brother and I hosted a tailgate party before today's Eagles/Dallas game. One of our guests brought cigars and offered them around. I declined, but I went farther than that, I told everyone that I have an addiction to nicotine and that I've removed it from my life. It got a little quiet at that moment but everyone was cool with it. I told them I didn't want to be a buzz kill, the stuff just isn't for me anymore.

It would have been a perfect day, except my football team sucked as bad as they ever have today. :P

Stranger, you're doing it right. You're getting involved with your group and the community, posting roll meticulously, and reviewing your quit regularly. Damn proud to be quit alongside you, and I hope the rewards of quitting are becoming more and more evident as the days add up.

Your are just about through anther weekend of quit!

Yes, you will see turmoil in your quit group now and then. Learn from it without getting swept up in it. The posting you do here and on your fellow Decembros intros builds on accountability and brotherhood. That is how quit works.

You all have some rough days ahead -- but as you are seeing it gets better. Keep eachother strong, spread the accountability and brotherhood, and QLF!

Yeah bro! Small victories, hour by hour, day by day.

Great job Stranger, I'll see you posting roll tomorrow. Let's make it a nic free weekend.

We are brothers in quit.
Thanks my brother!

I have college football to watch all day tomorrow and then I will be going to the Eagles/Dallas game on Sunday. I have plenty of stuff to do without nicotine. B)B

Not dipping is really freeing up my day. I don't have to wait that 30 minutes to get my nicotine fix before I can leave the house. I don't have to make sure I have a tin around so I can put that dip in after a meal or just before I want to take a dump. I'm finding I have so much more time in my day to day life to do more of the stuff that I really want to do.

I had that crap in my mouth for hours a day. I'd suck every last drop of nicotine out of it before I would spit it out. That's just crazy! I always knew it too - that is the awful part.

I'm quit and I will post roll tomorrow.
^^^
Future Me, don't forget to read this last post again - a lot. Your past dipping self was a major asshole. Don't cave.
Don't cave? You want cave if that nmes on roll call because you're a man of your word. Enjoy some college football and Roll Tide Roll! Damn proud to be quit with you! You're killing it, don't slow down, enjoy the ride! Freedom is awesome!
Tobacco is so addictive it took me a year after a massive heart attack, in which doctor confirmed caused from dipping to finally put a lid on the bitch! ODAAT EDD

Day 14 has been super calm. I had a moment or two of the sweats but other than that it was a great day. I would have been on the forum more today but I was catching up on all the work I blew off when I was in the fog. LOL.

I'm quit and I can't wait to post roll tomorrow. Join me there.

I quit with you all!

Almost to day 14. There have been a lot of new quitters showing up today and frankly I don't know who is going to stay quit and who is going to disappear. Some of the introduction threads look a bit shaky but then again I think mine might have been a bit shaky too. I am addicted to nicotine just like everyone else here. We would all be in the same boat, except there is no boat - nicotine just throws us out in the ocean to drown.

I want anyone reading this thread to feel my resolve now. If it pumps you up for another tobacco free day tomorrow so much the better.

Let's face it, quitting dip is hard BY DESIGN. The companies that make dip need you to be hooked. The governments who tax it need you to be hooked. The only loser is YOU!

I will to be here tomorrow to post my vow on roll. Will you join me?

I look forward to seeing your names with mine.

Day 13 is passing me by. I only had a minor episode of the sweats so far today and it did not last more than a few minutes. It was in the morning again and I'm not sure what the hell triggers it, but at least it wasn't anything like yesterday.

I needed to get some cash for the weekend so I went to the free ATM at the convenience store. I gulped a little bit as I pulled open the door, but there is no damn way I'm going through the rest of my life being scared to death to walk into a convenience store. In my mind I kept thinking "remember your pledge". I got my cash and suddenly it seemed like I was collecting my winnings. I got their money this week and they did not get mine.

Fuck you Copenhagen dealers! 'Finger'

I stay quit with all of you.
Coming up on 2 weeks of freedom dude. 2 solid bad ass weeks of keeping your word to yourself and your team, and of WINNING. Look back at your early posts... You've come a long way. No one ever regrets quitting. No one.
Thanks man - I just got done reading this entire thread again. I'm reading it from start to finish every day so I never forget the suck. My brothers and sisters here help me a lot, but reading my own words here really strike home.

I can't wait to post roll tomorrow. :D
Sweats, shits, dizzy, constipation, foggy it's all better than cancer! Quit on!
Wait, I never said I had constipation. The bowels are working better than they did before I quit. Is this something else I will have to look forward to as well?

If so BRING IT ON. I've quit, I will post roll tomorrow, and I quit with you all!
