I been dipping and chewing for bout 35 years. Only tried to quit one time for about a week. Been quit this time for 8 days. Really haven’t had a lot of withdrawals. Just seems like I don’t sleep as good as I used too. Been chewing some gum and dipping some back off. When do the really bad withdrawals start to kick in. Just trying to prepare myself

Sounds like you made it farther than last time. Get in the May 21 group and keep on posting roll everyday

@Sammyb,

Welcome back.  I hope you are truly ready to quit this time.  Quitters are only allowed one introduction page each so I merged your old one with your new one.

Get on in to the May 2021 Quit Group and post your promise to be quit for today.  Come back every day and do it again.

Also get the answers to those questions that @Keith0617 ask you about.

You can do this but you have to work at it.  It is not a free ride.
If you want my digits, just ask and they will be yours, but I expect yours in return.

Accountability is a statement of personal promise, both to yourself and to the people around you, to deliver specific defined results.

@Sammyb it looks like you have been here before, back in 2018 sound about right?
Yes I have. I started back shortly after I was on here. Why ? Well I was fishing with my dad and got a chew from him. Been chewing every since then til bout 9 days ago. Made a pact with the wife that if she would quit smoking I would quit chewing. Well she’s been quit over a year and I’m just getting around to it.
Damn dude, you should be in the comma club by now.  Tsk tsk

You know what you need to do.

Get in and get going hoss.

Jeff
@Sammyb  make sure you take a moment to answer the 3 questions in your new group and your old group of Sept 18.

What happened?

Why did it happen?

What are you going to different to prevent it from happening again?

My bad withdrawals started before day 8 but your results may vary.  Are you here to quit or are you just looking for advice?  You posted roll in the September 2018 group and obviously you didn't stay quit that time.
