'bang head' 'help' this sucks ass I'm 2days in want a dip so bad! my family is pissing me off! I have a dip when I drive, after I eat, be for bed, when I wake up, when I shower, when I'm board, before and after work. gum makes me want a dip even more! Got some hooch snuff that is helping a little. why the F$%@ did I start this S^*. Should have said no when they gave me my first can "into be coming a man". can not get a way from people pising me off! 'bang head' 'help'
    I started dipping when I was 17 I'm 22 now 23 in July, going to school for welding. still live at home (with mom and dad). I live in the BIG RED! tried to quit a lot could not make 1.5 days be for buying a new can.

day 1-3/21/13 was hell on earth for me. Day 2-3/22/13 is not as bad I do not know why though. day 3-3/23/13 I hope is a ok day. I know the first 72 hours are the worst. what are some good rewards to give your self for not taking a dip, a day? a weak? a month? a 1/2 year? a year?
Worry about today. Quit for today; that is doable. Don't even think about next week, or a month from know, or a year from now. You want a reward for staying quit today? Ok, how about:
1) Knowing that today you didn't put cancer into your body
2) You didn't give money to a company that manufactures cancer and doesn't give a shit about you. When you are dead there will be another 17 year old to replace you.
3) You hopefully will be alive for a little longer for that wife and kids you don't know yet (or boyfriend - we don't judge here)
4) millions of other reasons...think of some for yourself that directly relate to you. Write them down and carry it in your wallet. When you feel week read that list.
The good news is 1 more day (72 hours after quitting) and the poison should be out of your system. For me, those days were the easiest because I was psyched to be quit. It has been every day since day 3 that have been a battle like none other. I two used to dip in the car, after eating, when bored, etc. Now I can't do any of those things today. Find something else to do. Anything is acceptable as long as you don't put NIC into your body.
Get involved here. Get to know these guys. Get phone numbers. When a crave comes login if possible and read Intros, HOF speeches, banter in one of the groups, or go to live chat. Text a fellow quitter. They will save your life. They've saved more a few times.
