Dipped 38 years, crappie fish every damn chance I get. Never been on the water before without a dip till 178 day's ago! Made it just fine. You can do it, it's mainly mental. Stay strong! Quit with you today!
Tobacco is so addictive it took me a year after a massive heart attack, in which doctor confirmed caused from dipping to finally put a lid on the bitch! ODAAT EDD

Hang in there. We've got this. I mowed the other day with no dip. I HATE MOWING! Dip always got me through. If you like hunting, it should make it a little easier. Plus, think about this: deer can smell dip spit 5 miles away. They claim it smells bad and go the other way.

Stay strong, if I can do it, so can you!
Some of my fondest and clearest memories are peeing in places that aren't bathrooms.

You motivate me, man. Don't let that incoming "dad-bod" change your opinion about quitting. It's better than the "dead-bod".

I'm quitting right alongside you. See you in Roll Call tomorrow.
I'd like to call myself a motivational speaker now....can I put that on my resume? LOL. thanks bro. I'm just telling the truth, nothing more, nothing less. Hopefully others can relate to my sad fake life as a ninja dipper. My biggest obstacle will be hunting season. Hopefully by then it won't even phase me. I used to throw in a dip as soon as I got in the tree....but maybe this new chapter will be even better.

Your story is close to my story. Read as much about ninja dipping as you can on this website: so much is recognizable it will make you laugh and then cry from shame. People that openly dip might be dumb-asses, but at least they aren't liars. We ninja dippers are dumb-asses and liars. When a ninja gives up dip, he gives up being a liar. Stay quit, stay proud, and be the husband that your wife deserves. I quit with you today.
I was part ninja, part dumb-ass then. I would Ninja dip around Co-Workers and my wife. 15 years removed from college and only a handfull knew I packed my lip with dogshit. My buddies knew, but a bunch of them quit or are in the process as well. I had a buddy die of Colon Cancer at 34 Years of age. He dipped, drank, smoked bud, cigars...etc...I don't know what did it to him, all I know is that he left 2 kids and a wife. Efn' rough deal. He went through hell and back with Chemo and stuff. Dude couldn't sleep, all he did was smoke Pot 24-7 for 2 months before he died. he couldn't sleep and couldn't stand the pain.

Many of my buddies quit then...it took me a year but now i'm done. It's 9 days in and I think i gained 5lbs, but oh well. I really don't miss it all that much...I just keep thinking about the $5 a day i'm saving. You can buy a lot of fishing and hunting shit with the $1800 i'm saving a year.

First time I've quit something and was proud
« on: June 22, 2015, 12:03:00 PM »
Long time dipper, first time I've really had a want or will to quit forever. I've quit 1000's of times, told myself I was done in tomorrow, threw 100's of cans out of the truck window, bought only one can at a time because it was my last....I did that 100's of times, if not in the 1000's over 20 years.

I was a closet dipper too. My wife hated it. I went in the basement, DIP. I went outside, DIP. Truck, DIP. I even got away with hidding it in my lip walking through the house. I was able to watch TV and my wife have no idea SAD stuff man.

Now I'm done, It ran my life and I've had it. 8 days Nic free and i'm feeling great.
