I am a 28 year old male. I have been dipping for a little over 10 years. My finance had talked to me about doing the Whole30 diet to combat her PCOS and wanted my help while doing it. I agreed to do it but one of the catches was that you also had to quit nicotine while on the diet. I have been telling myself I need to quit from the day I started and made it about 68 at one point in time but ultimately failed. I told her that I would gladly do this with he and my true motivation was not to lose a pants size or two but to kickstart my quitting chew.
I think that having a community and family of quitters with me will greatly improve my chances this time though. I believe that there is strength in numbers.
I have succeeded in wrestling, one of the toughest physical and mental sports in my opinion, but it is truly not the mental battle that nicotine addiction is. I know this is going to be a huge challenge but I'm not a wimp and I am ready to do this for myself. I want to prove to myself just how tough I can be.

Welcome.
I really dont care how tough you can be or are. All I care about is can you keep your word, 24 hours at a time. Yes, that can be tough but it is tougher to kiss your kids good night with half a face.
You also need to take a long hard look at yourself. Thoae that succeed are those that come here for themselves. Coming here on a deal with a finance for a 30 day diet...doesnt boad well in the long run.
Not being an ass, just a reality check here. I want to see you succeed, just preparing you for the reality.
