Here I am on day 151... Insomnia has set in and the emotional train wreck is right there with it... I have started a new workout routine and have switched up my diet a bit so hopefully soon I will be able to get a good night's sleep... Today was a weird day for me
.. Out of nowhere I just started bawling... There was no reason for it or none that I was aware of... After the tears dried up I become super snappy and just ill as all get out... Annnnndddd then the tears reappeared... I finally stopped and have been fine since... It's really incredible just how bad nicotine screws with your body...

Newbies if you read this.. One second, one hour, one day at a time... You're not gonna be healed over night...
I have only been able to sleep 4 hours max. Day 14 here. I don't require much sleep anyways(young kids). I have started using melatonin again though and it seems to help get me to sleep and keep me there for a while. It is insane how much it screwed us up. I literally don't know what normal feels like. I was against using the fake stuff as a crutch in my quit, but i have realized that i would rather chew the imitation stuff the rest of my life that to touch a can of cope again. I am a quitter, 100%. Whatever it takes, i will not pick up a tin again.

See you in chat Ari, although I haven't been there much as of late.
Two weeks is awesome! Keep that determination and that positive mindset!!

Mcamaro bought mine. It has been in my pocket every day no matter where I'm going are what I'm doing. Fell out of my pocket into the recliner one evening and I went into panic mode! You're doing great. Damn proud of you and proud to be quitting with you!

Today I am day 107! When they forewarn you of the after HOF funk do NOT take that lightly... I was doing absolutely fine until a couple of days ago then BOOM the worst cravings and that lovely fog set in... I keep my HOF coin on me at all times to have it to pull out and hold to keep telling myself "you have come this far do not dare look back" it really helps... Along with all of the friends I have gathered here at KTC... Never be afraid to reach out to someone when things get rough!!
Great advice, Ari. Keep that coin as a reminder. After 2,600 + days, I still carry mine daily.

Just remember, we poisoned ourselves for how ever many years we did, and it's going to take a little more time that 100 days for your body to stop throwing temper tantrums. I will tell you this - the craves will start to become fewer, farther between, and way, way more manageable. It get SO MUCH better!

Stay Strong!

Stay Quit!
Did you buy a hof coin to help remind you or do you get them when you hit 100 days.
One of my biggest inspirations on this site bought mine for me!!
