Emason why not join up and get this kind of support everyday as long as your name is on roll. It's simple and takes less than 2 minutes of your time. Quitting by yourself sucks ass! How many times you stopped only to fail? Ktc works and it's very simple. There's all kinds of weird shit goes on when you stop flooding your body with all that poison. I quit with you today! Come on in and cop a squat
Tobacco is so addictive it took me a year after a massive heart attack, in which doctor confirmed caused from dipping to finally put a lid on the bitch! ODAAT EDD

Thanks for the advice...I get headaches/sore throat but everything I read that is normal. Never heard of this lip thing like this so I thought I would ask. If it doesn't go away soon I will have to go get t checked.

I quit 2 weeks ago and now my bottom lip won't work correctly. Feels numb at times. I coach football and can barely blow a whistle because my bottom lip won't close around the whistle. Anyone heard of this?
Never heard of it bud. Your mind might be playing games on you; many times nicotine will give you a reason to go back to it. You should setup an appointment with your doctor anyways to be safe man.

Good luck. Hope to see you on the forums and PM me if you have any questions.

Yes, definitely see a doctor. Phantom pains, throbbing and other odd feelings are very common when quitting, so this is probably just how it's manifesting itself for you, but you should still see someone to be sure.

But Idaho is right. Two weeks on your own is very impressive, but the fact that you found this site tells me that you are looking for some kind of help.

No shame in that, we're all here for that reason. Getting connected with the groups here gives you access to a network of people who are all going through the same thing. It's a group where you can bounce ideas around, discuss symptoms and strategies for dealing with things. Also a good place to blow off steam. Additionally, it's about accountability. You have to commit to it to benefit, but I'm telling you it's worth it.

Regardless of your health situation, you need to stay quit. Hang around here and your chances will greatly increase towards that end.

Emason,
I have not heard about this one, but my lip and area I used to hold my chew was sore for a while after quitting.
If it doesn't get better go see a doctor and ease your worries.
The real question is when your lip is better and you forget this panic what will keep you from putting in another chew???

Post roll, everyday with KTC and your body and mind will heal and never go back
