Read, Read, Read.

As you have already been told this is not easy. If your mind is in the right place you will get this done.

Welcome. If you need anything sing out.

Congrats Happy!!!

I sorta did the same thing on quitting...didn't plan it in advance, just quit cold-turkey. I don't recall what I was thinking except that I didn't want to be owned by Copenhagen anymore. After 20 years, I finally got pissed enough to do it.

Sounds like you did, too. Congrats. Keep up with Roll Call, renew your commitment each day, and read everything you can on this site.

You can beat this!!!

Welome Happy,

It's no lie that it's gonna suck, but you can do it. I know this because everyone on this site (and it's a shitload) has done it and continues to do it.
Read as much as you can here and listen to the advice.

STAY STRONG-STAY QUIT!!!

Brian

I'm proud of ya Happy, and congratulations on a fine decision. Many long time quitters here never really planned to quit, it just kinda happened. This will suck badly for a few days brother. But it is worth it. If you have a set of nads and you are a man of your word, you will successfully beat your addiction just like many here. My best advice is get lots of seeds, gum, jerky, fake snuff and settle in for a street fight. The next three days will be crucial to your success. Stay close to the site, read everything and get involved. I will see you in the HOF!

I have no idea how I came across this site. After reading several posts, and reading people state "QUIT NOW", I quit. I spit my dip out right before starting this post. I wasn't aware that I was going to start an endeavor of such magnitude this morning, but here I am... I better get to bed before the DTs start. I am not looking forward to the morning.
