JEFFBRADLEY, welcome back to KTC

What happend?

Why did it happen?

What are you going to do differently??

Lets quit JB,  no games this time
So here goes nothing....

What Happened.
It's been a long time that I was un quit that I am not really sure I remember what my trigger was that lead to my fall. I do remember it was right around the time i had emergency surgery to have a gallbladder removed that was literally filled with stones. Within a week of that I was back to dipping. Albeit significantly less than before, but nonetheless I was NOT QUIT.

Why.
I am really not sure, but I know that once I took that first dip I was so FUCKING ashamed of myself, for breaking my word, that basically shut my door on the one thing that had kept me quit..KTC
What I should have done was admit my fuckup immediately and re quit...

What Changes am I making this time.
I am committed to this quit. I now have kids who are very active. I am involved in their sports, and our church. I do not want to miss out on their lives. I am going to have too much fun with my daughter, playing dolls, and tea parties. With my son, teaching him how to play football, and Hockey. and how to hunt.

I recently Emceed my father's retirement party. He retired after 44 years at the same town. He had worked up the ranks and retired as a fire chief. 18 years ago he had a heart attack and after that he quit smoking. so that he could be around for us. He didn't have to miss my sister, or I getting married, or the births of any of his grand children. I deserve the same as him!

So to sum it all up I guess I would say that this time i am QFML
Quit for MY Life...
Ok Jeff, im gona leave the battering to the other guys this time. I have a feeling that you are going to be a fine quitter this time. I hope i am right, and please dont make me look like an idiot. Get into the site man, be active, exchanging numbers, chat room and mentoring newbies that come in behind you. You know what kind of shitty withdrawals you are facing so lets buckle up and ride this bitch. Stay quit JB. No more games, this is life or death.

WINTER GREEN
ok winter you walked right into this one: dont make me look like an idiot 'crackup'

but anyway, Jeff - you remember what you went through before, so you know what to put into this moving forward. Just in addition to what you have above, put a plan together for when times get the toughest (make the community here a part of your real life, get the phone numbers and use them).

quit on

Funny, I have played this video for my sales teams around the region and always got fired up saying I am a Champion....
I NEVER thought i would be twice as fired up to answer the Question, who am I
With the answer
I AM A QUITTER!!

Nice post JB this is some good shit
I will conquer what has never been conquered.
Defeat will not be in my creed.
I will acknowledge the fact that I am an elite warrior who arrives at the cutting edge of battle by any means at my disposal.
I accept the fact that my team expects me to move further, faster and fight harder than our opponents.
Never shall I fail my comrades.
I will rip the heart from my enemy and leave it beating on the ground.

WHO AM I? .... I AM A QUITTER!!!

Had my last dip of Skoal Straight yesterday @ 1:30 PM

I wasn't even really planned on quitting, I knew that I needed to, I crossed the threshold this year where I was a "dipper" for more years of my life than I was a "non dipper"

The FOG is really heavy right now
Jeff many of us crossed that threshold, actually I did along time ago but none of that matters spilled milk and water under the bridge are just that thing of the past! We live today and only today. You need to go to the welcome center and read how to post roll you will be in November group because you will hit 100 days in november. Then post up your day 2
Today! Roll is a sacred promise to not use nicotine in any form for the day! We can all do that. You will be accountable to all of us like we are to you and each other! Check your inbox(1) upper right!
Welcome to your freedom from Nicotine Jeff, great choice!
Now follow WT's advice, go post roll every day. Posting is accountability to yourself that chew is off the table for today and so all the other quitters know you are quit today. Embrace the fog and the suck. Remember it. You will not have to go through this again if you stay quit! And it gets much better over time!
PM me if I can help!
I quit with you today.
Fish, eat, sleep. Repeat.
