Welcome to KTC, HuskeRic. This will be one of the toughest if not THE toughest thing you've done, but it will consequently also be the most worthwhile.

First up, check out the Welcome Center. Here you will find all the necessary, need to know information about KTC. What we are, what roll is, how to do it, and why we do it. The Welcome Center is basically your bible. Be familiar with it, get to know it.

Once you've done that, head on over to the June 2012 Quit Group and post your Day 1 as soon as you can using what you've learned from the Welcome Center. This is your promise to not use in any way, shape or form, for today only! We quit cold turkey here at KTC, one day at a time. Tomorrow, you will wake up, post roll again for a Day 2, and embrace your quit further.

Check out the Live Chatroom. Here you will always find fellow quit brothers who will give you advice and help you with your quit. Form friendships with these people- they all know what you're going through. Exchange numbers with them for when things get out of control. Formulate a QUIT PLAN. How will you fend off Nicbitch craves when they come? Read as much as you can here at KTC. The amount you read is directly proportional to the strength of your quit.

If you have any questions or comments, please don't hesitate to reach out to myself or any other vet around for assistance. I will gladly get back to you ASAP. Also, if you'd like a number for your quit plan, you can surely have mine if you'd like to ask. I quit with you today brother.

Well here goes my introduction... I'm 20 years old, about to turn 21 on Thursday and I have been using dip for about two years now. I have tried quitting before, but always convinced myself that I could put it off until later.

So as of 630 tonight I am a quitter once again. I hope to put this phase of my life behind me and help others through the suck.
Congratulations on your quit!

It is important to understand that we do not "try" to quit here. We simply do it and we do it cold turkey, meaning no nic patches, gum or tobacco products.

The central part of the success of KTC is posting roll call every day.
Head on over to the WELCOME CENTER (link in red at the upper left of your screen) and read all about posting roll. Then go to the June 2012 group and get started.

Also read everything you can under this link: KillTheCan.org.
Information is power when it comes to quitting.

The initial days of quitting suck, but your life is worth the fight!!
