You're right about the addiction. I'm doing it different this time around, it is for myself(not someone else) and my own health.

I'm all in cold turkey. No nicotine whatsoever. It's a hard afternoon right now on the first day.

Thanks for the support guys
Damn, the quitters on this site give solid advice.

You quit at 21 and it's all gravy man. All quitters over 40 here wishes they'd quit at 21. Do it right today and worry about tomorrow then. Learn from our past.

Welcome.
This is the right place... If you put in the effort.

A number of things need to change in your mindset.

Your "give this a try" mentality is a recipe for failure. Again. You need to jump all in and DO this... We don't try here. Cold turkey... Once and for all. Your "try" mindset comes from this starting point... You think this is a habit.

Wrong.

It's an addiction. One you need to fight against. The weak moments of caving due to the ever present "stressful moments" is your downfall. You can be bigger than that! Stop letting a weed run your life.

All in bro. Every bit of who you are... All in. Nothing can stand in your way when you OWN that decision! Get involved and stay involved. Your freedom is on the line... What will you do to have it?
Well, it’s one louder, isn’t it? It’s not ten.

there is no try. do or do not. those are your choices.

3 months is stopping, not quitting.

this is not a habit. this is an addiction. get your head around that. it means this fight is forever.

Janson here. Have been reading posts on this site the last two times I tried to quit but decided to join and give this a try this time around.

I'm 21 and have been dipping for 4 years. The longest I've ever made it is 3 months quitting, but normally something stressful pops up in my life and I jump right back on it.

For the past year my intake a dip spiked from 2 cans a week to 3 and a half cans a week.

I just graduated college, landed a great job in Dallas and am looking forward to cutting out this gross habit from my life for good.
