I made the decision 3 months ago after speaking to my doctor.  We agreed that September 1st I would quit.  I came across this site today and after reading some of the posts, I know I am in the right place!  I just need some direction getting set up with a group.  Can someone please point me in the right direction?
yeah...do what the other 3 said

welcome...and don't let your personal fences keep you from reaching out for help when you need it.

LOOt knows they teach you fuckers to rely on your brothers for support...so now you have 2 band of brothers...one with M16's with mouths full of cancer...and one with nuts the size of grapefruits and kicking the shit out of nicotine demons

and a heartfelt "thanks" for your service

carry on

if you quit today then your hall of fame group is december 2007... head on over and introduce yourself click here

also, you'll be "posting roll" which is kind of a big deal.

other than that, use the site, ask questions and READ everything that you can... you WILL do this!

congrats on a great decision to quit!
