Today not terrible, but I am finding that I want to eat everything in sight. That isn't good but whatever it takes.

I can't really concentrate on one thing and I feel like I am not enjoying the day like I should.

My main plan is to try and stay busy....boredom makes it worse.

Just a thought, I see you like duck hunting, I got a friend that started carving ducks in his spare time. He goggled it and now he's carving some beautiful ducks. Quit on!

Thanks guys

Just gonna EMBRACE THE SUCK!

No EXCUSES
Just lay back and "enjoy" the ride. You'll be amazed after a day or two that you said no. You'll look forward to next week because things will start to clear up. Well, they probably won't. It takes some time. The first 30-45 days have a shitload of fog frustration, and anger. Post roll EDD, beat nic ODAAT.

You can. I quit with you.
Man up and be a quitter ODAAT. Post Roll EDD. It works.

Hang tight and don't cave, you are going to have a hell of a ride during your quit.
I am on day 44 nick free and I still have weird feelings.
It does get better.

Hi Zach

You did the right thing by posting roll. That is your promise that you will not use nic today at all what so ever or how ever.

While your at it you should go a read some HOF speeches and some WOW threads. Some powerful words in there.

Do what you need to do to get through today nic free (seeds, jolly ranchers, etc etc) , fake chew what ever just do it and come back tomorrow and promise one more time.

Remember yesterday is over we cant change that, tomorrow is not here yet. All we have is today. Make it today then we will will worry about tomorrow when it gets here.

I quit with you brother!!!!
If I could I would. If I don't, it's because I am lazy.

I am doing it for me.
« on: September 29, 2015, 02:46:00 PM »
Hello all,

I, like many of you, have tried and failed in the past. I know this time is different and I will be done for good. I got hooked in college and have been a daily user of Cope Wintergreen for the past 4-5 years. I have a job that is mostly boring and involves a lot of driving. I also enjoy outdoor activities. These are some of my biggest triggers but I have plans in place to get through without needing a tin.

I quit because $1,500 a year is an insane number that you never really see when you get a tin here, a tin there.
I quit because I am tired of sneaking around, hiding it from my boss and family members.
I quit for my health. I watched my grandfather die from lung cancer. Shame on me for ever putting this crap in my body.
I quit because my wife and I are going to have kids someday and I want to be there in their lives for a very long time.

Thanks everyone
-Zach
