I have "stopped" in the past, thinking I could quit. I had so many "planned dates" that sounded good at the time. It ended up being just a random day that set me free. There was no special occasion to memorialize. It was a Monday, just a Monday. I am now at 40 days and have never been without chew for this long in the last 5 years. This is, without a doubt, due to everything at KTC.

The articles, the support, the other BAQ's. It is a cocktail of badassery that works. It works.

I am thankful for that.

Honestly today felt pretty good. Still tired but no real physical cravings to speak of...just the mental fight of thinking about it, remembering it. I have been telling everyone that I'm quit so that it keeps me from screwing up and looking like a liar/weak asshole

Weird thing today... Took the wife out to a nice Mexican restaurant tonight. Eating an enchilada plate and almost stop dead while chewing because my brain said that there was cope straight in my mouth

Very weird, I didn't even Chew cope straight other than really a few times in my whole life and didn't prefer it. The taste was so real though that I actually looked through my food to make sure the cook didn't spit cope in it or something 'Crazy'
Anyone else ever have that happen....like a taste hallucination? It must have been some sort of smokey flavor but it was 100% cope to my taste buds
Personally I've never heard of that but it really don't suprise me. You will see and taste alot of different shit while your brains rewiring. Doing great! Quit on !

Today not terrible, but I am finding that I want to eat everything in sight. That isn't good but whatever it takes.

I can't really concentrate on one thing and I feel like I am not enjoying the day like I should.

My main plan is to try and stay busy....boredom makes it worse.

Stay strong young duck Hunter...
And you go ahead and eat everything thats slower than you are, for now.
The concentration thing will improve, and later it will excel far beyond what you used to do.
Staying busy is good.... Every battle is a victory when you do it without cancer.
In the beginning its like fighting the worse of two evils. It gets better.
I can say I enjoy the Quit now.
You will too...soon enough.
Proud to quit with you today.

Thanks guys

Just gonna EMBRACE THE SUCK!

No EXCUSES
Just lay back and "enjoy" the ride. You'll be amazed after a day or two that you said no. You'll look forward to next week because things will start to clear up. Well, they probably won't. It takes some time. The first 30-45 days have a shitload of fog frustration, and anger. Post roll EDD, beat nic ODAAT.

You can. I quit with you.
That's a tough one. I'm with you. Lots of sugar free crap (gum mints etc). Not completely calorie free though.

Might try some fake chew or you can get mint leaves and chew them. Obviously exercise.

Get through 30 days doing whatever it takes. Do your best on diet, but put the quit first. At 30 or so (40+ for me) you are ready and have some energy to start doing more like diet and exercise.
Man up and be a quitter ODAAT. Post Roll EDD. It works.

ODAAT: One Day At A Time
EDD: Every Damn Day
