I saw this on the internet and thought I would join in.
I officially quit Chewing on March 30th. I was addicted for about 5 years.
My habit was a little different than most peoples.
I only chewed on the weekends when I was drinking.
The problem is that after a while, I would not feel the alcohol
and started drinking a little too much. Well, I just got a little tired of the hangovers.
The other night, I had a couple of drinks with some friends and NO CHEW, and everything was great the next day.
Of course, I thought about it that night, but with some self-tolerance and help from the Wife, everything went fine.
So, here I am just takin it one day at a time. Nice to meet all of you. 'shades'
