Alltheway,

Quitting KTC style is simple, but not easy. You make the decision to quit, and that decision has to come from the core of your being. When that happens, you could come across naked nymphs frolicking in tobacco fields offering you lippers as they whisper sweet nothings in your ear... And It wouldn't fucking matter because you're quit.

Then, you post roll. It's your promise not to ingest nicotine for the day. You just have to make it from your alarm to bedtime. We post roll here EARLY because it is a promise... If you post late, it's just a status report. Posting late is better than nothing, but it ain't a strong quit move.

After you post roll, the easiest hard thing you've ever done (or hardest easy thing) comes next... Keeping your word. It's easy because after step one, you're all in and 100% quit. It's hard because your addict brain and the nic bitch will do everything to lure you back to the can. Here, it's time to sack up, use your alternatives (seeds, gum, exercise, jerky, fake, etc), and use the site (read, post, support, chat).

It's time to make it happen. The nice thing is that the only one that determines your success is YOU. You hold the keys to success. Time to get and stay quit.

Hey brother its your co-worker, Day 8 is in the books for me now and couldn't be happier that day 1-3 is in the past but as I told you before at work, this site will help you out more than you know. When ever you get a craving just throw in your seeds and get on the website and read or talk in the chat to some of the other quitters on here. You can give me a shout anytime , you saw on the November page that we lost someone already and they ripped him a new one, don't let that be you man. Talk to you soon.

15yrs dipping copenhagen(FML)
« on: August 02, 2011, 03:13:00 PM »
I started dipping in high school when I started riding bulls and following the rodeo circuit. Anyways 15yrs later here I sit dipping a can a day not thinking it is quiet as cool as it used to be. My daughter and wife have both asked many on many occassions to quit and I have always went back to the one it seems I love the most. In addition, my coworkers bust my chops about it everyday. With all that said I had a co-worker who has dipped for nearly as long term me onto this website and some of the stories. Last night I went home had one dip got pissed and threw out 3 cans of copenhagen. I hoping that the support from this site and my co worker will help push me past this stuff. Today as I'm writing this I have eatin a half bag of Sunflower seeds and half a pack of gum. Like a f--in crack head. Anyways i really want this for myself and my family.
