Deployments are difficult. We quit by banding together and supporting each other to quit one day at a time. We do this by posting roll in a quit group (your group is April 2017 -- you will get to 100 days with those quitters).

Comms can be a challenge when you are deployed, try to get connected quickly. there are lots of military quitters here that can help with the special circumstances you face.

Proud to quit with you.

Day 1
« on: January 07, 2017, 04:16:00 PM »
What's going on guys. Well, today is officially day 1 for me. I've tried to quit too many times to count but this time will be different. It has to be different. I hate myself everyday thinking about the harm I'm causing my body and the hole I'm burning in my pocket. Former baseball player and current US Army soldier. Dipping has surrounded me my whole life. I've dipped consistsntely for 4 years and a can a day for about 2 of those. I'm heading out of the country for my first deployment in a few weeks so I probably couldn't have chose a harder time to quit. But if I can't do it now I don't believe I can do it at all. I'm ready and determined, and appreciate any support you guys will give me. I can't wait to move on with my life and be done with this disgusting habit. Here's to a long road ahead.
