Thanks for all the advice and support. I know I need help and will for the rest of my life but my daughters kisses are more important than this nasty ADDICTION (I misspoke earlier). Yes I posted roll call and flushed 17 cans of red seal wintergreen. It's on.
Flushing 17 cans is bad ass and a good start. I quit with you today.
Some of my fondest and clearest memories are peeing in places that aren't bathrooms.

Bhamp you have some great advice in here already- I don't want to repeat, but I do want to throw in my support. Follow the method here as good as you can. Give it all you have, and this site will help you quit for good. I know because I tried to quit since before you were born and I finally did it following these methods. If I can do it, you can too! Welcome! So glad you found your way here!

Welcome, sir. Pull up a chair and get to reading all you can around here. We have addictions, not habits. Have you dumped all nicotine and quit? Have you found roll call yet?
Great job posting roll. Welcome to the site. This is the place to be to quit for good. I never thought I could but this place and the promise we make EVERYDAY is the ticket.
Read and make friends. You will NEVER regret quitting. It really sucks for awhile, than you start to heal and it just keeps getting better and better. Reach out if you need anything. Lots of quitters here to stand right next to you in this fight!
Welcome,
What Gmann said is very accurate it is not a habit its an addiction the difference between us and crack whores is the legality of the substances. Nicotine is more addicting than any known substance yes even more than heroine...so you need some tools for this fight one post roll, next read read read, three get numbers from people take numbers when offered these numbers will save your life when the nic bitch comes looking for her slave. If you need #'s PM me and its yours.

Complacency sucks, one moment of it is the difference between being a user and a quitter....OIB

My name is drew. I turn 30 in September and I've half ass tried to quit several times but I wasn't committed. I have a daughter and I want to be around for her and I don't want her to be disgusted by my nasty habit any longer.
Bhamp, I believe the word you were looking for is addiction instead of habit. Are you a nicotine addict?
