Welcome aboard man.  This is the best decision you can ever make.  Your not too young to understand what this crap can do to you, take a look at ODT's pics, read Kerns story.  If you can comprehend those you know what will happen if you don't make this quit stick.

Post roll in your group, commit to being clean one day at a time.  Read everything this site has to offer, stay close, and think through every time you crave, what would putting that dip in do to change the situation for the better?  The answer is always nothing.

Again welcome aboard, we're here for you.
Yeah. I'm probably retarded, but how do you post roll? Can someone help me out?

Hey Everyone!
« on: November 19, 2008, 03:13:00 PM »
My name is Brice, I'm 18 years old and I'm from Orange County, California, but I'm currently going to college in Santa Barbara, California. Where I'm from, not that many people dip, but at my high school, our football and baseball teams were known to be hooked on Grizzly. Two football buddies of mine gave me my first dip about two and a half years ago. From that day on, I loved dip. At first it was the amazing buzz it gave me, then I fell in love with the taste, and today, I can't go a day without it.

I've quit before. Twice, for about 2 months each, and the other attempts lasted about 12-24 hours. My girlfriend of 18 months HATES my dipping habits. One of the motivations I have to quit is that I'm tired of hiding my spittoons and empty cans from her. I've had enough of letting tobacco control me. I'm fed up with being addicted. But mostly, I fear I'll spend my entire life dipping and possibly ruin my health or even develop cancer.

Although I'm very motivated to quit, I fear I am to young to be fully aware of the dangerous of dip. I'm aware it can be deadly, but I'm worried the cravings and peer pressures from my friends will make quitting impossible. Hopefully, this site will give me the will power to stay strong and finally kill the can!

Thanks for Listening,
Brice
