Schmutz has cut ties with a couple vets that were trying to help him at his request, which makes me think he is planning his next cave.  'bang head'  If you know differently, please try to keep him posting...
He is in the wind I text him soon after he missed a post no response then I text him again the other day when Frazz was looking for him same no answer
Yeah, don't waste any more time on Schmutz (well named). Dude is too weak to stay away from finger banging the can, despite many people trying to help. Quitting is simple, but it does require you want to be quit and make the effort...

Hey Bud,

I saw the thrashing you took a few days ago and I just wanted to say that I am proud of ya for keeping with it. I know it doesn't mean much coming from somebody you don't know but, it makes me feel good that we still have young men willing to step up to the plate and keep their word. Good on ya bud. This nic bitch has nothing on us, we got this. You can pm me or give me a shout any time you need to! My digits are xxx-xxx-xxxx.

My apologies fellas! Really bad with figuring all this out but I'm trying here' I wanna follow the forum and the rules to the T. I know I messed up and I posted the answers to the three Qs on the Oct group site. Didn't know I had to post them in my intro.

Unwritten rules of KTC- you cave and you face the music in your group by answering these questions in Oct 13 for breaking your promise. DO NOT half ass the answers or your quit this time!

(1) What happened?
It was the fifteenth anniversary of my brothers death, every year I would have a lip in honor of him but I let the damn habit get the better of me and talked myself into thinking it was okay to do and one lip in memory of him wouldnt hurt. I caved and I gave into the shit.
(2) Why did it happen?
I let my head get the better of me, I overthought, made excuses and talked myself into it. Got cocky and proud that I had a couple days under my belt instead of realizing that I'll never have it completely under my belt.
(3) What are you doing differently this time?
Asked my girlfriend to give me hourly checkups and every morning to ask if ive taken roll call in order to keep myself even more accountable alongside everyones help here.
I had to dig through all of OCT to find that you answered the questions, I see you have. I see where Sir Derek stated you have a new family its right here you need to swap numbers. I was looking for you when you first went off the radar I sent out a message to you in the future when you someone reaches out grab on. Its not wierd or ghey its your life. I see Frazzled has you dont let yourself or him down. I dont know what rez you came from but the average age for a male on most reservations is roughly 46. Do you know where my childhood friends are from the rez most of them are dead do you know why? I am 46 thats why. If you are having chunks of your lip cut off at 19 you right on course to make that stat. Do you want more for you then that? If so hang on to this site as if your life depended on it because it does. Also if you have any left in your tank reach out to someone in your group or anyone in need and be there for them.

PM me if you need me!!!

Good Schmutz, thanks for putting it here. Now I am going to ask you to start adding to it.
1. Your answer to number 3 needs some work. Don't put this totally on your girlfriend to remind you. What if she forgets, does that let you off the hook? This quit is about you, you need to own it. And no matter how great she is, she won't fully understand what you are going through. We do, so...
2. Post roll every single day, post to your intro at least once per week. I want your thoughts, how its going, anything to show me you are thinking your way through this. I will be tracking and helping your girlfriend remind you if you seem half-assed about this...
3. Got a quit plan? In writing?
4. Got numbers? Get more, and don't be afraid to use them.
5. Read everything you can on this site, especially when you are craving. Knowledge is power.

Most importantly to start, post roll every single day, as early as you can.
I'm quit with you today schmutz, we will do it again tomorrow.
Fish, eat, sleep. Repeat.

I see you posted a day one.

Read through your intro and saw this. " I have already had a small portion of my lip removed due to dip and that didn't even frighten me."  Next time it may be your whole lip, or more.  You need to look through your intro again, lot of good stuff in it, but so far it's all just talk.

You caved before the holidays!  What makes you think your going to make it through them??  Are you sure you want to start over today?? You could have waited until after the holidays, so you could of finger banged a can all weekend.  Maybe you need to really do some sole searching.  How bad do you want it??  Right now, i'm not thinking to badly!!

You owe you group an explanation!!

What happened?

Why did it happen?

What are you going to do differently this time?
I dont see where these questions have been answered but he is posting like nothing happened.
Sent schmutz a PM, we will see if he will become a quitter or not... So far just a serial stopper...

Keep keeping on and posting roll! Your in a nasty spot, right now, but it gets better so stay the coarse. Come back and post to your intro often it's like our quit diary. Answer questions, tell us about that headache you said you had on your roll post this am, and or challenge wt57, etc.... I bet wt57 has something to teach you that may save your quit bro, I know your brain is F-ed up but now is the time to plug into this site. I quit with you!

I'm really sorry to be a downer, but, to much of your intro points to others pointing out the stupidity of dippin'. I just don't hear you personal rock bottom position to quit from. Spend some time reading a lot of intros and HOF speeches. You don't have to have that total hatred of UST today there is time for that but you do need to hate the slavery you have been living with. Today I hate tabacco and the freedom it took from me. Sure I'm stronger everyday and renew my commitment daily, but I am and always will be a freaking addict and I hate that. I will never give in to my addiction as long as I post roll. Now it's your turn to begin this miserable process. Do you have balls? We'll see! :ph43r: 'archer'

With the right time for you and this site you can win! Get involved, read everything, and talk so much quit that you will be the biggest douche bag on earth if you cave. I am quit 34 days as of now, and wish I would have quit 7-8 years into my addiction. PM if you need anything.
