Thanks guys. I'm glad I decided to join and post. I wouldn't have made it past day one.

Withdrawls are already kicking in pretty heavy.
Withdrawal will suck. Drink lots of water / cranberry juice and exercise til,you drop.

You should go th the May 2016 quit group and post roll with those quitters. Roll is your daily promise to use no nicotine for 24 hours.

Get to know those quitters, they are where you are in quit. You can help eachother through the day, then do it again tomorrow.

If you let it, it will be a vicious cycle of strange pains, stoppages, Dr gives all clear and back to the dip. That is, until one day doc's news isn't good. What kind of people are we, that let ourselves be enslaved by this stuff. Here we Quit. Every single day we post our promise to not use nicotine. Head over to the May Pre-HOF group and start your journey of brotherhood and accountability.

Well, I just decided to quit again. Ive been dipping heavily for about 4 years and quit twice before for more than a month at a time but relapsed and continued to give in. I've lurked around the forums before my last two quit attempts but i never created an account. This time I plan on sticking around and actually using this resource.

Lately I've been feeling a dull pain in my neck while dipping and being the hypochondriac that I am, my brain immediately went to cancer. I'm not sure if I should see a doctor about this or if I'm simply over reacting. Either way it's good motivation to quit for good.

I am glad you are here.
First, you have never quit before, just took breaks... this could be your final quit if you want???
It sounds like you can quit now at 4 years, your body will heal and you will embrace the sweet freedom.
or you can come back in here in 12 years and then you will think everything is cancer and if you aren't lucky it could be.
you make the call, quit or take another small break
