I am on day 2 and this is harder than I thought. A Lot harder!! This is the first time I've ever seriously tried to quit. I am a former Marine, Crossfitter and Homicide Detective and this is, by far, the toughest thing to date. I have resorted to marking off each hour as another small victory. Pathetic..
It's not pathetic.
It's what you have to do to stay quit initially.
It will get better. Much, much better.
I see that this is your first post, so go ahead and take a look
here. That is our welcome center, and it will explain what we do, how we do it, and why we do it. But, for a quick explanation, we post roll call every morning (promise not to use nicotine in any form) to remind ourselves "Never again!".
You are a December 2012 quit member, and your 100 days will be the last day of 2012. Barring any end of the world scenerios coming true (like the Mayan Prophecy or Al Gore's Day After Tomorrow), you will get to start 2013 as a Hall of Fame member.
Congrats man.
I'm very proud of you. Keep it up, and look in your pm's for my number.
