Amen to wo1miles' post. Day 25 for me and pretty much the issues with insomnia and inability to get back to sleep once awakened are gone. I feel good - hell no, I feel great! And my worries when I was planning on quitting about "how can I do this without dip" or "how will I be able to make it through that without a dip" were silly. There isn't anything better with a coyote turd in your mouth than without...period. That is your mindset.

You can do this EAllen. I was on Day 1 what seems like just a few days ago. One day at a time. That's all you got to do. And those day will start piling up quick, man.

Now get out there and have a great quit today.

Most importantly you must understand that your quit is something you must hold sacred. Nothing good can come from a cave, nothing bad can come from quitting for just today. One day. You will feel great after only a short time, and you will see that your daily activities aren't so foreign without the nic bitch.
Your mind is a lying, cheating, stealing whore. Your body is a saint. Now, who are YOU going to listen to?

If you're ready.... really ready, then the rest is just details. The distraction offered by this site is great. The support is even better. After chewing/dipping 19 years, I quit with the help of the folks here. Without them, I promise you I'd be sitting here this morning swallowing poison. Don't think of us as folks hiding out there on the internet somewhere. If you want support, it's here. We're here. Drop a PM to ANYBODY on this site, and they'll help you.

Posting roll isn't just a name on a list. That is your promise. Congratulations on a great decision!

Got your roll fixed big dog! Don't get discouraged. You will get used to posting roll. Read this link on how to do it : index.php?showtopic=50

Make sure that you post roll everyday! Stick close to this site. Make sure people know your name and are looking for you everyday. All the support is right here brother, you just gotta ask for it. We have been where you are at right now. It sucks, but it WILL get easier. I promise you that. I used nicotine for about 10 years just like you and as you read things on this site you will see that many other quitters wished they had been smart enough to quit only 10 years in. Quitting is a decision you will not regret. Let us know if you have any questions, concerns or just need to vent your frustrations. You can hit me up with a personal message or just write on your intro thread. Stay quit man.
