Yo Zach, did it get too hard for ya? You are 18. I chewed for 17 years.

Don't do what I did. I could really use my $30,000 and my gums back.
Some of my fondest and clearest memories are peeing in places that aren't bathrooms.

Zach, you got this... no bullshit here.... it will absolutely blow and will be up there as one of the most challenging things you ever do, but also most likely the more important thing you will do for yourself and your family.

Slowly, over time, your thoughts of dip will become few and far between but will never fully disappear. But you can be sure that it does fade away and get easier over time, but unfortunately you have a couple of hard months at first.

To begin, you need to post roll every day and honor that promise. Really buy into what roll means, what your promise means to others on here, and what you are doing for yourself. Soon you will not only avoid dipping for your own health, but in honor of your brothers and sisters here on KTC.

You got this, and reach out if you need anything.

Hell yes it gets easier. You are in what we call the SUCK, aptly named bc it fucking sucks. Drink water. Exercise and sweat out toxins. If you hit a crave, stop and say "Time out, I'm having a craving bit I will not cave." Then hold ur hands out straight, breathe deep and count backwards from 10. Crazy but it worked for me. Make up ur own distraction but just quit like fuck every damn day, one day at a time.

I promise by Week 2 it's way way easier to battle the craves. I'm 16 days clean after 38 years dipping and I can tell you I'll never repeat the SUCK. remember how fucking hard it is and how bad u feel so that you will only suffer this once and never again.

Check ur mail. I sent u my digits if u need me to talk you down this weekend. Proud to quit with you brother.

Day 2
« on: June 13, 2015, 12:10:00 AM »
Hello my name is zach I posted earlier but because I am so early in my quit I figured I should ask here. Does it get easier? I was just driving home from dropping my girlfriend off and it took every ounce of will power I had not to stop at 7-11 and cave. There is no way in hell I am putting tobacco in my mouth again but is everyday going to be a struggle like this?
