Welcome Kancoltex and congratulations on making one of the best decisions of your life. And great intro!

But one correction: you do not have a tobacco habit . You are physically ADDICTED to nicotine. You are a nicotine addict. Say it out loud if need be because It is not a small difference.

Read everything you can on nicotine addiction. Understand what it has done to you - how it has rewired your brain, how it has lied to you over and over. Once you really come to understand how nicotine has highjacked your brain, you will begin to hate this poison. You will stop romanticizing it. And then nicotine will no longer stand a chance!

If you want more accountability, then feel free to pm me for digits.

Proud to be quit with you today.
Just one and you will be back to where you started, and where you started was desperately wishing you were where you are now.

changing my life for the better
« on: June 12, 2018, 07:22:00 PM »
I will hit some facts fast to tell my tale. I had a heart attack 10 months ago and had a quadruple bypass at age 53. have since lost 20% of my heart attack body weight and reversed type 2 diabetes in 6 months afterwards.

Now I am on to my toughest task of trying to quit chewing. I was without my can for the 3 or 4 days of being in the hospital after the surgery. But I knew I had one in a drawer at the house for when I would get home.

I am four days with no nicotine or tobacco. I found this site over a week ago and decided to order some tobacco/nicotine free pouches. When my box arrived I have simply substituted for the mint pouches. I donÂ’t really care for the new pouches, but they are there for the certain moments of the day when it would be automatic for me to put a pinch in.

I have spent many highs and lows and made many changes in my life. The only constant of every day of my life is that I have always had that tin with me. Always hoping I would be able to quit before I got cancer. I am cancer free to my knowledge and have made a promise to myself that I will not let poor habits ruin my quality of life.

With the help of this website and the knowledge of others before me, I expect to get rid of my 39 year constant habit. With the help of my will and spirit of this room.

Thanks
