Good morning!

Glad you found your way into our quit group this morning and posted (I'm in your group). I know it's a mess in there right now, but you did the right thing by posting. I "picked you up", added you to the table, and posted it for you. It's a new format for everyone, so it's going to take some getting used to (and our group has an incredibly difficult time with posting anyway). As has been mentioned, this most important thing is that you made that promise. Now, just keep it for today.

I'm going to send you a PM (Inbox is in the top right corner of the screen) with my contact information. USE IT. Accountability is the key to KTC, and I very much encourage you to reach out to as many people as you can. For example, in addition to posting roll every morning I am currently texting 21 people as soon as I get up with my "Day #" and my promise to quit for the day. As crazy as that may sound, I've done it every day I've been on KTC (29 days quit, 24 or so on KTC) and it works.

Quitting forever sounds incredibly daunting. It sends me into a complete panic. One day? I can do damn near anything for one day.

Welcome to KTC!

^^^^This, and the fact that you posted, is awesome. Posting gets easier... I promise. For now, just focus on getting your name on that roll each day when you wake up. It looks like you've found a kindred spirit with Steve - I sincerely hope you guys trade numbers. I'm honored as hell to quit with both of you guys.

If I can help, shoot me a PM. One day at a time, greatness is ahead.

You need to post roll. Don't worry about screwing it up. The only way to screw up roll is by not being on roll.

Posting roll is the backbone of this site, and your best defense in your quit. It may not make sense to you now, but you need to get in there and give it a try. I guarantee that once the fog lifts, and you've had a bit of practice, you'll be posting roll like a champ.

This is the link to your quit group. You need to post roll here. Day 2. Sounds lame, right? Dude I am as big of an addict as you, 1,768 days ago I posted roll. You can do this. Quitting as a group doesnÂ’t make it suck less, but knowing that you are part of a team going through the same shit at the same time makes winning possible.

You poisoned yourself for 30 years. ItÂ’s gonna take time to rewire. But you will rewire. Freedom from nicotine is a feeling like having a 5-Star prostitute going apeshit on your.... sorry, dude, I got a little carried away there for a minute.

Get your ass on roll call NOW. Then again in the morning the second your eyes open. You can do this. If some weak dude like me can, you can too. But you gotta post roll if you want to win!
