I definitely didn't find more Grizzly Mint. At 1 a.m. October 4th I will be 1 Day nicotine free. I feel fine. I am feigning like a dope head but I am fine. This isn't bad too bad. Cold turkey none the less. Seeds, Gum, and water have helping me alot. I bought Bacc Off wintergreen but haven't dipped it yet. Just open the can and smell it like the feign I am. Seems to do the trick for me. No chew in the house all flushed down the toilet. I am done.

I quit 4 days ago. It is much easier today than the past three.

I am a previous Copenhagen Longcut summer dipper and Skoal Mint Winter Dipper. The texture feeling is apart of the addiction like many are saying.

Peppermints, lots of water, coffee, dark chocolate, staying busy and reading this helps me. Stay busy and sign up on roll and quit today.

Once you decide you are ready to quit. Just quit. Don't buy another can. In 4 days I have saved 10 bucks. May use that on a nice IPA or movie tickets for my wife.

I'm here with ya. Just PM.

There are 21,000 people here because our shared addiction is hard to quit. If there were something a lot like the poison we used to ingest then there would be a lot less than 21,000 folks here. I'd love a rainbow shitting unicorn as well, but I got quit the only way possible, which is to stop putting it into my mouth.

To add to what Ginet is saying, there is no item you can add to a shopping list to make you successful. There is no item you can add to a shopping list that will make your quit not suck. Stop worrying about your inventory of quitting goods, and take stock of what you have inside. Think about WHY you made it here, HOW you will use this site to kick the nic bitch, and then stop saying I WILL, I WANT. Instead: I QUIT.

Jan15 roll is waiting for you, you won't be experiencing this alone.

Another case of the "tomorrow I'll stop" "I just need" and "BUT".

Here's how it works. You are ready to quit right? So.....you do. You stop putting that shit in your mouth. You just stop. Now, to make sure you have thousands of people to suppot you, you post roll. This is your promise to yourself and to all of us that you will not use nicotine at all today for any reason regardless of your quest to find that perfect fake alternative.

Now quitting is hard. You very well may need some fake to help you. We are good with that.

You also need help via support from people that have been there. We totally get it. The withdrawal, the anger, the stress, the fact that we wanted to punch anything or anyone just because. We also get the apprehension and the fear of quitting.

Stop living in the fear. Jump into your quit feet first. Promise.....there are thousands of us just waiting to help you.

You my friend just need to quit. There is no master plan or preparing. You just stop.....

I'm gonna be here quitting like a girl. Let me know when you are ready. Honestly, you made my quit stronger today. I will not be you. A slave to nicotine. You don't get it now. But you will. Only when you quit.

No EX-Grizz Mint users out there? I don't expect any product that has zero nicotine to be Grizzly Mint. I just need something similar in texture and flavor. I am not going to use this stuff like I did with my dip habit. it will be for emergencies. Seeds already kill 90% of my craves. I can't imagine what an alternative would do for me in a tough situation. I honestly think it would make me feel guilty as if I did cave, helping me in my process.

21,000+ members and not one former Grizzly Mint user who switched to alternatives?!
A couple of things. It's not a dip habit. You are a nicotine addict.

Some guys use herbal mint tea bags; get it wet, roll it up and stick one in your lip.

Drink lots of water for the next 5-7 days. Read, read and read more on this site.
Welcome GB.

I just need something similar in texture and flavor.
This "not" true. It is just part of our addiction. I used to think that also.
I actually bought some fake dip online in the beginning. It arrived as I was in the fog. I was on fire quitting and slamming the nic bitch every minute, every hour. I spent hours a day on this site. I opened the packaged, 2 rolls stared at me. I stared back and said, "fuck that, you look like the real shit". I didn't use it, I didn't want to trade one oral fixation for something that looked and smelled like the real poison. I tossed it all in the garbage and continued with my seeds, gum, candies, peanuts, water, did I mention water? LOL It was really rough, but well worth the fight. I won this morning too. If you post roll and honor your word and learn all you can here, you can "be quit" ODAAT.
Whatever you're thinking right now, know that when you've been quit awhile and re-wired you will think more clearly with the clarity of Quit.

Come on in, surrender, drink the KTC koolaid it tastes sweet and gives you more power than any power drink!

I WILL go check it out today. Is Grizzly Mint your enemy as well?
Nicotine is our enemy. Pure and simple.

My friend, you have wandered into THE right place if you are ready to Quit. Read our Welcome Center, grab your balls and get started.

Don't worry about finding 'the closest thing to Grizzly'. In fact, run as far away from that mother fucker as you can. Cut the cord. Burn your boat. Slam the door Shut on that bitch.

You can do this.
What is your major malfunction?!?!?!?!

nope, grizzly fine cut natural.

also go and check out the welcome page, read all about how this group works, learn about posting role, that is the most important thing we do here, we promise everyone here and ourselves that TODAY we will not use nicotine. Then we keep our word, then do it again tomorrow.

EDIT; The pouches I am using are mint though, and they are pretty good, if I had dipped mint snuff they would seem even better I imagine.. lol

I am the GrizzlyBear. I am 22 years old. I started smoking cigarettes in 8th grade at the ripe age of 14. 6 years later I decided that I was tired of smoking. On January 1st, 2013 I made the leap and I am now 1 year, 10 months cigarette free. No need to congratulate me, I have also been a Grizzly Mint (long cut) addict for 1 year, 10 months. Out of the frying pan and into the fire as they say.

Fast forward to today (10/2/14) I am looking for the closest thing to Grizzly Mint for smokeless alternatives. If any of you EX Grizz Mint users have recommendations please let me know! Im ready to quit NOW. This is the last thing I need( got plenty of gum, seeds, etc.) to say I am fully prepared for Day 1 and the end of the Nic Bitch. I WANT to quit, I am READY to quit, and I WILL quit.
The best thing I have found are Smokey Mountain pouches, they also make loose stuff, but I personally prefer the pouches in this case. Walmart should have them.
