Hello everyone.
I am Chris. A 30 yr old father of 2, and a significant other to an amazing woman. I have been chewing since I first got a fat dip of skoal when I was 12. Every day now since 14. I know 16 yrs isn't as long as others but it is over half my life. I couldn't go with out it. It took me over. 1 can a day. It came to the fact of just having one in all the time.
Have an amazing woman who came to me through the grace of God at my lowest point in life. Broke my neck in a car accident and was getting divorced after 7 yrs of marriage. She didn't care I chewed, but I did. We are now trying to purchase a home, and try to start our own family.. I want to be healthy and live as many days with my children and hopefully future wife. Sorry for the ramble.
Hey Chris - welcome! Five days on your own is incredible! BY this point, the nicotine is out of your system, and your body and mind are starting to heal.
Your next step is to get on over to the
March quit group and start posting roll with your group.
If you're not sure what roll is, or how things work, this link will help fill in the details:
Here's How You Quit... Ball Is In Your Court Now.
Roll is our promise to each other that we won't use nicotine today. We're addicts. Quitting forever is hard... but we can all quit for a day. I've quit for a day 322 times in a row. There are fellows here who have done it thousands of times. Post roll, quit one day at a time, and you'll be surprised how quickly those days add up.
