Thanks to everyone for the welcome. It's Saturday, day 3, and I'm feeling pretty proud of myself. I've fought off several, severe cravings with the help of that herbal chew from Walmarket. I feel I'm over the hump for today. Tomorrow is another battle but I think I'm ready. Idaho Spuds ...your avatar...nice. Thumblewort... Love Traverse City ... maybe not in February.

I am a man from southeast Michigan. I've used tobacco for 29 years, both smoking and dipping. I'm a father, husband, step-father, plumber, hunter, fisherman, tee ball coach. I've had my run with nic, and it's time to quit. I saw this page while searching for non-tobacco chew.
Welcome michigan! I'm just around the lake on the other side after the land of legal fireworks. Damn glad you found us. You posted roll so you're quit today and that's bad ass. come back each day, first thing, and take back control of your life from that dumbass plant in a can. Read everything you can here. Im assuming you found the fake dip section, its a great tool for oral fixation and i still use it occasionally after 369 days, but nothing is as powerful of a tool as the accountability and brotherhood of the quit groups. Quit with you today sir.

Welcome MP. Glad you're here. You just made the best decision that you'll ever make in this life, and that's saving your own.

You're a tee ball coach, so you know how motivation works. For those kids, it may be "catch a fly ball and you get ice cream!" or something like that. Well my motivation to you is to think about why you're doing this, and who all you're doing this for. You don't get an ice cream for staying quit, but you do get to hopefully never tell your family "I have cancer."

So here's to you MP! I quit with you every day.
