Sorry to hear about your Aunt Sportsfan. I know the stress of that isn't coming at a good time for you but you seem to have a good attitude about it and remember stuffing your lip full of that shit won't do a damn thing for your Aunt. I'll say a prayer for your Aunt and your family. Hang in there dude, day by day things will get better.

day 5 now missed all the support yesterday. i read alot of the other post that helped. My  wife says i,m a ass hole im to cranky lol
The support here in your intro will let off from time to time, just seems to be how it works, if you need more (even if you don't) get numbers from some of your fellow quitters and from some vets. When you need a hand use those numbers! Nice day 5 by the way. keep it up. We all have been an asshole, jump in live chat and give it to your fellow quitters rather than to your wife!
Great 5 days. Keep it 1 day at a time.

This day has by far been the worst for me im tired i ache i want to eat all day. Wish i could just go to bed cant i have fire training tonight. Which will be hard because alot of the firefighters chew. But i will be strong.
Hang in there Sportsfan... you can do this! Drink water, chew on sunflower seeds and keep busy! This stage in your quit is the toughest stage and I know you can do it! I know it's tough to be around people who are chewing but just remind yourself why you are doing this and it will pass! At this stage in your quit I would take it one minute or hour at a time, try not to think about tonight or tomorrow, just deal with right now!
Swede is correct. Stay in the now.
You are a fucking titan of quit. Those candy ass junkies have nothing on you. You have balls of steel. Balls that withstand extreme temperatures. Fight fire and addiction with steel.
hot damn sportsfan - you can do this. Today is day four. Day four is fucking HUGE. That means the nicotine is out of your system. from this day forward the physical addiction is gone and the mental addiction takes over. Which is why today sucks so bad. The nic bitch realizes that her best chance to get you back is today. TODAY is the day you will be at your weakest mentally. But you know that your weakest is stronger than what that bitch can bring to the table. Just finish today. Get through today and you'll win.

you can do this.
The love you get here is conditional. The condition is that you are quit.

day 3 here . last night was rough not much sleep when i did it was dreams. go back to work today could be tuff.
Hang in there bro. You're in the heat of the battle. Get small, hour by hour, minute by minute if you have to. Try to keep busy at work, drink a lot of water, get some excersise after work. Whatever it takes to make it past these first few days!!!
Sage advice from Deisel. I could not have said it any better.
