Okay boys....coming up on 1 year and its been a weekend of reflection.

First, changed my avatar. As you can see, I went from risqué and edgy to clean and more inspiring. Would love your thoughts :-)

Second, my goal is year 2 is to make my quit even more solid by helping as many new folks as possible.

2 more days to 365....still 1 day at time...

I may be alone in this, but I disagree that this avatar is more inspiring than your old one. This one's nice (I like the bird,) but inspiring? I give it two and a half stars. The old one could convince me to buy four stars made out of chocolate diamonds in exchange for acts not appropriate even for this website... if only I remain quit. But that's just me.

What IS inspiring is 363 days. I'm still new. You've helped me and many others. Not sure what else you could do to help the newbs, but I'm sure you'll come up with something. Happy Easter to you. And congrats on a year!!

Okay......coming up on 1 year and feel its time to change my Avatar. My Avatar was picked to remind me and anyone who read my posts that the nic bitch is lurking everyday. If you zoom in on my avatar, you can see the word "bitch" on her stockings.

Well, as I ponder the last amazing last 12 months and look forward to the next 12 months (one day at a time) I think its time to retire the "in your face" image of my Avatar and replace it with something.

Not exactly sure what that is. Part of me wants to pick something that reminds me that the nic bitch is lurking. Part of me wants to pick something entirely different.

Is it me or are we in 2013 and anyone who doesn't know how to use a computer or a smart phone a complete moron?

Just trying to ascertain if this new, front loaded positioning statement of "I am not good with a computer" is a new fad or I am just being a dick.

Seems like even if you are in your golden years and living in the boonies - like my good, quit for life, fucking bad ass quitter, WT :-) you can post fucking roll.

As a matter of fact......I may have to say the WT is now the gold fucking standard. If he can post and be active, you can.....bitches....

Thanks Fuel, thinkin' back when I found KTC I was relaxin in my easy chair suckin on a big ole dip thinking about death being around the corner. Even up here in the high Rockies we quit using passenger pigeons a few years ago. I found KTC on my grandkids I touch, posted my first week on that thing and never fucked it up once. That was 335 days ago and I haven't missed a single day. Sure when I try to post on my computer this damn slow connection usually bumps someone, but I've adjusted and if I bump you 'respect your elders and fix it'! I'll tell you what, if power goes down and out closest cell tower that's 50 miles away goes down I'll get those damn pigeons back out to post roll. No excuses to fail to post roll and BTW its a weekend, newbies get your plan in place. No day 1 accepted Monday!!!

For those of you who have read my HOF speech, you know I was not stealth with my family. They knew I dipped and was a disgusting mother fucker. But they did not judge me. My work life? That was another story. I was stealth. I was embarrassed. I NEVER wanted anyone at my company know I dipped. And I hid this nasty fucking secret from all my colleagues successfully.

But heres the thing...

As I approach 1 year (one day at a time of course) I feel more and more open about my addiction and the nic bitch.

I have started to tell people I will addicted to NIC....

Anyone want to guess what I am finding?????

yup, you guessed it.....many, many other guys are hooked on the bitch.....

I just give them 2 pieces of advice....

1. Man up for 72 hours
2. KTC

I LOVE telling people that "I used to dip" now...but am QUIT with my brothers one day at a time!!!!

Many ninjas in my town. In a music store talking about guns. Tell the guy I buy a gun everyday I go 100 days nicotine free. He tells me he dips and wants to quit. Give him a kTC card.

See him at my lessons tomorrow, I'll ask him if he checked out the site.

Same here, guys. It's damn liberating. Most recently, I had a long discussion with a couple coworkers who were "trying to quit". They didn't seem willing to come to KTC, so I bestowed some knowledge on them. The more we talked, the more questions they asked.

One guy had dipped "a couple times" over the weekend. FAIL.
Figured he could still have one or two on a fishing trip. FAIL.
It's a tough habit to break. FAIL.

I explained the theories on addiction and "no such thing as just one" that I've learned from the vets here. The really soaked it up. I finally had to leave because I was late for another meeting. As I drove back to the office, I reflected on how much my thinking has been altered by this place. Back in 2010, I had no idea what KTC would do for me. There is no way I would have succeded without all of you guys here.
