Congratulations on finally quitting. You probably have seen that some of us have used dip for 40 some years or more. You are smart to quit after 10 years. Drink plenty of OJ or fruit juice. Your brain produces sugars when you dip so when you stop you quit getting those sugars. That is one of the things you crave. The sugary OJ or fruit juice helps replace that.

Make sure you get 3 square meals a day and you get plenty of exercise. That will help ward off the craves.

Welcome. I see you found your quit group, and posted roll. That's great. Post roll every day - weekends, holidays, birthdays, sick days. That's your best chance of staying quit. Post early, make your promise, and keep it.

There are great resources here. You've made it a month on your own, which is kick ass, but there are a lot of tough days ahead. The support you get here will help you stay quit.

Almost a month

Hello,
I have quit dipping on 8/26/2016 since dipping for almost 10 years. Chewed gum for the first couple of days but realized that if full wanted to kick the stuff best way was to quit that too. I have used the fake natural chew when the feeling gets real strong and it would feel great to have a chew. Hoping to kick that at some point too.
